Hi everyone! There are problems with my old bamboo hut so I decided to renovate it with the help of my older cousins and uncles. The roof of the old house keeps on dripping when it's raining. After two weeks of renovating the roof and the kitchen, it's done now. Yey! Today, I harvested bananas, cherry tomatoes and taro leaves. I cooked spaghetti bolognese and laing in my newly renovated bamboo house. It's been a while since I posted the last video. Do you guys miss me? Sa 'lifestyle' po kasi si GB at hindi sa 'food'. Kung mapalansin ninyo, hindi lang siya puro luto luto kundi pinapakita niya talaga 'yung kung anong mga ginagawa sa kanayunan, 'yung lugar, 'yung buhay at hindi lang puro 'cooking show'. That's why, sa lifestyle vlog talaga siya at hindi sa food vlog. Pero oo, mas authentic itong kanya.

Hi I just want to reply to some nasty comment here. They're all good and I love watching them all! It just so happens that Gayyem Ben is better among them when it comes to the story and cinematography. The shots are beautiful and clear, the selection of music is perfect and the story he's sharing is beautiful. He's not the creator who just cook, cook and cook but does other work too. You will learn a lot of things by watching his videos i.e. how to ripe bananas, how to make traditional coconut oil, how to make a hat, what plant is this?, how to cook this? etc. I love the fact that he makes the effort of putting English subtitles in his videos so people overseas may know or understand what he shows and does. Plus, you'll surely love the beautiful places he shows in his videos. If there's someone who I think should represent the Philippines in making content like this, it will be him. When it comes to cooking and the food on the other hand, I think Joseph the Explorer excels among them. Every time you watch his videos, you'll surely feel hungry. I also LOVE the idea that he shares the food he makes to the people of his community - a true representation for the Filipinos! When it comes to close family ties and the authenticity of movements of the actor(how he/she moves, talk etc), I think Ms. Cynthia excels on this one. When watching Ms. Cynthia, you can't feel that it's just a vlog but a 'real world'. She's so jolly and carefree and I love the fact that she seems to be enjoying what she does. I'm just so happy watching her cook even if I do not understand what she's saying. 😅 Promdi Boy on the other hand is so relaxed. He's not here to impress us but he's here to just be true and share his everyday life. No pressure, no problems, he's just here to share a glimpse of his life whether you like it or not. Very authentic. When it comes to the skills of making bamboo and other wood crafts, Dishkarte is the best among them. His skills in making traditional Filipino crafts are unparalleled by these Filipino countryside KZreadrs. The effort on making those are enough to commend his channel. There are still a lot of Filipino countryside KZreadrs out there that I watch but these creators above are my top five. Let's all support them. They are gems of the Philippines indeed. You may agree or disagree on what I said here and that's okay. We have different opinions and perceptions of things and that's okay. Spread love not hate!

I grew up our family had a little veggie garden and we raised chickens for eggs and meat. Sadly we have to move. Though we still keep planting veggies in the pots but I still miss those days. I told my fiancé let’s raise our future kids in a farm and he agrees. We both sick and tired of city life. I find peace but also envious while watching your videos. Congratulations for being in the top influencers for the year 2023. You and your team work so hard you deserve so much recognition in the future.
