Jonathan, I'm very impressed with your set up. It's hard for me to imagine that you're just starting with saltwater aquariums. I watched your video because I'm considering purchasing the same box water box aquarium system. It will be my first experience with a saltwater aquarium. I hope that I can be as successful as you have been in such a short amount of time. I look forward to your future videos.

Sweet tank the water line is to high should be half of overflow slots so it can push through the filter media or socks things ur using and would move the chateo. Been doing this since I was 14 years old. And now still none stop I’m 42. Sweet gear a little over kill slow and steady concentrate on DKH and everything else will fall in line. Good luck. Also it’s actually it’s better to add two more AI prime 16 hd. They are great lights BRS TV recommend it. I due also they don’t blind you like ecotech with the puck recessed in fixture

Thank you so much! I used some Phillips screws or another thing I found to work well is 3M Command Velcro strips. They’re very heavy duty and not flimsy

So for what WB told me on the last chamber water supposed to be minimum 1 inch below baffle, but I seen some people run it like you do. Only negative is that if by any chance ato fails it can overfill back chamber quicker. If you can tell me how you did the chaeto trick o would appreciate it, I tried to do it in my first left chamber with the tunze but too much detritus was accumulating there

Thanks for the response! I did end up dropping my chamber water levels pretty significantly. My return chamber water level is now just a few inches away from the return pump. Noticed a great difference in filtering!

Not sure if your kalk drip is in the same chamber as your PH meter but, I would suggest maybe placing them further away to get a more accurate PH reading. Can you provide the exact size for that acrylic rod in the dosing container? Thank you

Hey! Thanks for the recommendation. My drip is indeed in a different chamber from the PH probe. The probe goes first and the drip is after. The acrylic rod is 1ft 6mm OD and 4mm ID

I’m curious on how you set up the Refugium in the back using the axis 20 pump. Anyways to get more info? Looking to do something like that also

@@skypham5187 nice! I’m just using basic BRS glue. It works pretty well. If gluing on the back wall, make sure you scrub it down so there’s not a slimy coat on there or else it won’t adhere

I’m not sure how well it works but it’s very simple to use and I do like that flow and light output is adjustable.

@@wtfsajaytee I noted that the fish really are struggling ,they can't empore your lovely tank as they have to work really hard just to hold their own.Everything else .....fantastic!
