Here is an idea... Make a simple o2 generator by electrolyzing water. Put the slime mold in an enriched oxygen environment. It might grow faster.

What blows my mind is that the plasmodia is one big cell with many many nuclei.

I had one of these, one time I showed my classmates, they always called these things, "Just a Germ", I did my own experiments with it and it actually reacted in interesting ways with every experiment.

I have one (well colony) in my yard! If you learn about growing gourmet mushrooms the growth methods are similar.

It's really interessting! I love that mold, one time I got some in my indoor plant I really enjoy watching it grow. It didn't hort my plant and just die probably of drought. I know I'm gonna be downvoted but, I don't know why, it doesn't seems right to electrocute them

I’ve been meaning to capture the slime molds that been spawning at my house!

I put a glass bowl upside down in some old potting soil and had some growing up the glass. After a few days I made a new and improved slime mold farm and nothing happened. Looking for actual instructions because me just trying random stuff is neither new or improved.

How long can I keep it alive for? I would love for it to live for years.

I really want to get myself a slime pet. I saw they grow in nature, sometimes on trees etc, and I would like to go and fetch myself one! Any tips on how I can get a sample, feed it some oatmeal and watch it grow? Do I really need a container that is sterilized? Can I put it on a little piece of wood, then i.e trap it in a clean jam-jar? I've no idea what I'm doing but think it's very coool!

if you can’t buy one from the website, you can often collect sticks and leaves and cover them in wet paper towels, leave them in a container for a month and find a slime mold by the end of it

Oh mani hope these aren't too expensive I want a pet slime mold bad... They're so much more to them than you can even imagine. I am trying to find some in nature but no luck so far
