Can you consider removing the “background music” from your videos in the future? It’s so quiet anyways and I always feel like it is distracting from you. You’re great and don’t need music present. I keep thinking it’s something outside the video. Love the vids other than that. Hopefully it’s not just me that gets bothered by it, it shouldn’t affect the quality of the viewership with it gone I don’t think. Thanks for making these vids!

Nice roadmap Spencer, you manage it so well with the detailed spreadsheets so thanks for sharing those. Being at 4/24, I'm also currently focused on Ink cards, but ah some of those elevated bonuses like on the Hilton cards remain tempting.

Nice roadmap! I did want to point out that you can actually multiple of the same Ink card under the same identity (ssn or tin). I applied for the CIC back in Oct last year and then again in May of this year. I think the only difference was my credit limit was $1k less on my second application. There's lots of other datapoints out there on Reddit and such too! Definitely makes the Ink Train even more valuable to hop on

Solid roadmap! I think the ink cash is a no brainer, plus you have 6 months instead of 3. I will say tho, the ink preferred is rumored to have an elevated 120k offer soon but we’ll see. I also plan to get another ink and then after that I’m up in the air… although the southwest CP strat has crossed my mind!

I appreciate you Cody! Completely forgot I have 6 months for that now. That definitely makes it a no-brainer. The Ink Preferred is definitely still an option, especially with an elevated offer, but we'll see about that. Excited to try out some new strats this year though!

Looking forward to the companion pass video. I’m also saving my last 5/24 slot so I can get that buy 1 get 1 pass for me and my fiance for 2 years. In the video can you talk about which combination of cards are optimal? For example, best combo for a maximalist that wants all the benefits like priority boarding, and best combo for lowest annual fee companion pass etc.. Also maybe take about how to continuously alternate getting companion pass between p1 and p2

The biggest problem with the roadmap is you'll always find great welcome bonus all the time. And sometimes, it may be more optimal to just apply for the best welcome offer at the given moment.

I see where you're coming from! But I wouldn't necessarily call that a problem with roadmapping considering you still need to have a plan even when those elevated offers come around. Sometimes great opportunities present themselves, but unless you take advantage of them with a plan in mind you could end up shooting yourself in the foot down the line.

Great updated road map, Spencer! I think going after business cards for the remainder of the year is an excellent decision. The cards you have in your roadmap for the near future are good choices. I did see today that there is a rumor going around that Chase may soon offer a 120,000 UR point welcome offer on the Ink Preferred. That will be dope if that happens! In hindsight, I think the fact that I ended up in Amex pop-up jail last summer was a blessing in disguise because it made me decide to garden my Chase 5/24 status. I just got back under 5/24 last month and I was approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred last week (I did use your link to apply). Now that I'm happy with my Chase setup for now, I'm not as worried about my 5/24. I may try to apply for the Hilton Surpass card next month and then apply for one or two more cards later this year. If I stick with that strategy, I will be back under 5/24 in the early spring of 2025.

I can't say with 100% certainty, but to my understanding, it all just depends on when you earned companion pass which is where that 135k point requirement comes into play. Since you don't need the SW cards to get the companion pass, even if you canceled the cards after achieving it, I assume you'd keep it no problem.

You can use the "combine points" feature through your Chase portal to make that happen! Super simple process.

Hey guys just wanted some advice. Not really on a roadmap just trying to figure out the best way to maximize the points with the cards I have. I have the CSP and the Amex gold as a duo because I wanted both transfer partners but can’t decide which card I should use for day to day spend or should I bounce back between the two? I obviously use my gold for groceries and dining and my csp for travel and bars but just trying to figure the rest out thanks!

To me, it all depends on what points you use more. For me, I always need more Chase points, hence why I like to default to their cards where it makes sense (especially as it comes to welcome offers). But if you use Amex points a ton, then having a lot of spend on their cards ain't a bad thing!

My roadmap is kinda weird because I’m going to be moving to Japan for work and 5/24 up until right before I move. So I’m relatively stuck for awhile unless I want to ballon up 5/24 for a No FTF set up I will absolutely need.

Well sometimes our strategies have to adapt to our situations, so if you need to bump your 5/24 status up for a while to build up a better setup for you right now, that's completely okay in my opinion.

Ink Cards for sure. Unless youre going to make a serious push for Globalist and put serious spend on that Hyatt business card its really not worth it.. especially when you can earn UR at a higher clip. I just started a new side gig so my next 3 are another set of CIC CIU and CIP! Reffered by my player 2. Its going to Rain UR thisbyear. 😂🎉🎉
