My New Leg Day 🔥

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

You’re going to want to SAVE this 🔥
Over the past few months the way I’m moving my body has evolved since the first time you may of followed me. I’ll always be a body building kind of girl, it’s at my core. But after years of training I’ve fallen more in love with what my body can do rather than how my body looks as such.
I’ve been incorporating performance/ track training in every session so I wanted to show you a little teaser of what’s to come this MARCH 2023 👀 it’s time to really EVOLVE.
Save this workout and try it cause tbh why not 👌
✅ SPRINTS FIRST: yup normally in body building I’d do sprints last but when you’re track training your sprints normally come first as it’s what your focus is. 20 second blasts with full recovery 8 times
✅ TRAP BAR: 5/6 reps big load & superset these with a goblet squat I forgot to record 8 reps/ 4 sets
✅ BB SQUATS: kept it standard/ 8 reps 3 sets
✅ RDL: standard again/ 8 reps 3 sets
✅ LANDMINE REVERSE LUNGES: 8 reps each leg (lean into the bar) 3 sets
Wearing Timeless Collection from @oneractive here some stock still available 🤘

    Well don’t do it It’s a improper movement that does more harm then good. Look at the ankle position under load , look at her upper spine neck and head position most importantly under an improper angle under load . Looks fancy at a glance but when you break down the points it’s absolutely foolish and a simple explosive deep side lateral lounge would be ideal and far superior.

    You might want to assess the movement on the land mine . Look at your spine position particularly the upper thoracic neck and head position. Look at your knee joint and ankle joint in a highly stressful position to be under load unnecessarily. I get that you want to perform what most uninformed may deem as some sort of advanced high tech movement but when you consider the facts I just laid out then you may want to replace that movement with something fundamental and functional, that enables you to have a solid postural , athletic position .A ballistic deep lateral right to left rhythmic quick step is a far superior choice that will not potentially cause unnecessary damage to your spine and joints while targeting the inner thigh , glute and quads while improving conditioning also . The intention ,effort and intensity is stellar . Keep up the solid work

    What kind of movement is the ballistic one you mention at the end?

  • @modemarcoj8026

    @modemarcoj8026

    9 ай бұрын

    @@CowCowMeows So if you essentially do a wide but functional lateral deep lunge about a heel to toe staggered step out and explosively drive with the foot you step out with to the opposite side and create a fast paced rhythmic drive right to left . So once you step out lunge and begin it’s essentially 70-90 percent max speed and power just driving right to left . I learned that from a strength and conditioning coach when training in wrestling to develop explosive power . Typically a 30 second set with 60 second recovery with 4 sets is solid at the intensity I described.

    Your leg day workout, is really good. i broke my back in 2010, & started back in gym 4.5months ago... ive been moving up in weight every few weeks. My leg press went from 200lbs to im now doing 3 sets of 12 reps at 355lbs. i cant do squats or deadlifts... which sucks. I am looking for different exercises to add to workout.
