@@SheLovesToFish your welcome. I live in MN so only have to wait another month and a half hopefully and will be ice fishing again lol. I bought a Polaris ranger Northstar with the full cab and tracks etc.. so can’t wait for snow to ride it and fish. Lake vermillion, Lake of the woods, Red lake are mainly where I like to go for bigger lakes.

I ordered 2022 Jan 3 knowing this is a awasome machine it’s now oct 15 no word after 10 months still hope full it will show up .

That’s one SICK RIDE! Would love to run into some northern lakes I have in mind with it. Although I’m not filming and setting up very much equipment, I find you really need to move around if the trout fishing gets tough. That flip up tent would be easy to stay mobile but definitely understand that it’s much more difficult when you have the extra filming equipment. Besides that wasn’t the best day for it. Loved the video even without a hook-up! Tight Lines......

Nice simple rig. I sometimes bring my kids and a. Few friends. 3 toboggans and 2 kids on the sled with me. The. Ole VK 540 gets a. Workout.8 people

I'm from Texas and HATE cold weather. But that machine and setup are awesome!!! Almost...almost would think about maybe in another life with a totally different life and set of circumstances... nope it's not worth it. Enjoy your cool stuff. Thanks for the video.

Nice setup, impressed with a Livescope too.! I would have covered the AT with a sm. tarp and had plenty of ramen noodles and back packer stove to cook, but that is how I roll. LOL. Great video!

Sometimes those trout lakes can be evil! I fished one rainbow trout lake open water last year 8 times and went 5 for 8. All 2 to 5 pound fish. All it came down to was just spending as much time as possible and staying positive, it didn't seem to matter so much what I was using. One of the best fish for testing your patience!

Just a tip from Alberta on catching trout on back country lakes. What works for me is shrimp, or even better krill. It's like crack for trout. I have never been skunked using krill. Ask your local Cabela's or other bait supplier. I use the krill that's dyed bright red. Love your videos.

I finally revived my Yamaha Kodak 450 track . Here fish fishy !!!

I just bought a x-over lodge, love it! Do you have a liner in yours, I couldn’t tell? I’ve had it out below -30 in Northern Ontario with my buddy heater and it gets toasty. I have not had much luck on stocked rainbow lakes this year, but better with naturally producing rainbow lakes. I have to say they are my favourite trout species. Most of my luck regarding trout this year has been with the Atomic teaser by Berkley tipped with a worm, or a spoon with a 12” leader and a hook with a minnow. They love the teaser on the fall. Are you going to be doing any walleye ice videos this season?

By liner do you mean the thermal hut? Mine is thermal and I'm just so amazed at how warm and dry it stays! I've had other huts that ended up with condensation dripping down when I have the heat too high, LOL! I caught my first ever rainbow on a Teaser last winter, great choice! I'll definitely be putting those to use some more on future trips. There's not too much time in the walleye season left, but I may get a walleye video in. We shall see! Thanks so much for watching and for your advice! 😊

After I see this I ordered mine but that was back in January 3 and still no machine. I am still hoping before ice starts

I might have kept my helmet inside with the heat.

Twisted line won't catch many finicky trout.
