Yes u can derail in the sim

One thing I love about Train Sim World is that they really bring out the sound of a loud locomotive, you know when your walking closer to one and the sound of the engine gets louder and louder.

I love how the conductor's side table in the locomotive cab looks like a butcher board. LOL

Head End Power is a separate engine that powers a generator that provides electricity for the passenger cars. We can’t currently make new routes or scenarios yet. They will release the editor once it’s ready. I also really like this DLC. It’s done very well. They actually had access to a real one and recorded a real one.

I grew up about a block away from the San Bruno Caltrain station, which is the stop prior to the Millbrae station. I'm amazed how accurate everything looks, especially the King St. station in San Francisco and the Millbrae station.

I got the Peninsula Corridor DLC with the older trains when it went on sale on PS5. I really like this route. I wasn’t even aware of this other train for it. I’m new to TSW and the first game I got is TSW4. The US version comes with the Antelope Valley line which is LA union station to Lancaster. It’s a route with mountains, deserts, hills, and descents.

I assume you're talking about the MP36, and yeah, now that you mention it I do see the similarity lol.

The horn has never been good in tsw same with the lights train lights are really bright but In tsw if you drive at night it is really dark

Been binging your NA train routes today. I’m extremely partial to the FD40 as Via Rail uses them up here in Canada. I ride the Canadian 2-3 times a month for commuting purposes. I may be not up to date but I don’t understand why there isn’t a via rail route on any simulator. Although the train on the left you like is used by West Coast Express and Toronto’s Go transit and I do love that modern look more as well. Great vids! Keep them coming!!

1. 2:16 The f40ph on the right looks like a freight loco because it is actually based on an actual freight loco, the gp40 2. The HEP stands for head end power and it supplies the coaches with electricity and AC from the loco (not a huge deal if it fails normally but on a hot day or at night. it's a nightmare) Hope this clears things up!

Btw using the locomotive means you're going to San Jose using the cab car means you're going to San Francisco

Sometimes the F40 is used for bullet service

Does anyone know what setting turns on the kind of tutorial you see while he is doing start up and if there is a similar setting on train sim world 3? The one where is shows the locations of the buttons and what to do. Thanks

$30 for base game, another $30 for the route and $20 for this locomotive, so $80... :| Alternatively you can get the Collector's Edition which comes with this route (not the MP36 though) and a few others for $55. OR If you want it for PC, get on sale on Steam, they just had a spring sale and tend to have one every month or so. If you want it on Xbox, the sales are much fewer and farther between but they still do regular sales on Christmas, so maybe you could pick them up then.

On the Great Western Express when I'm selecting route Exeter St Davids to London Paddington I'm getting Reading instead of Exeter don't know why is that anyone? Same with Plymouth getting Reading instead. :(
