I love this storage. I’ve had it for a few months now and it’s great!

I love my Tombow dual brush pens! I'm severely vision-impaired (legally blind), and I found that I can read handwriting much better if I write in Tombow markers. I may just have to get one of these storage units to hold the ones I have. I want to eventually collect them all.

I like this tombow storage but very pricey and I already bought another Tombow organizer that folds out and has a lid and handle, but it stores vertically! Wish I had been more up on vertical vs. horizontal for dual tip pens! Is that why Tombow came out with a horizonal holder? Gee thanks, Tombow! NOW you come out with this. 😝 I tipped the other holder sideways, but still not exactly horizontal so use a small strip of wood to level. Now I am in an obsessive-compulsive attitude cuz I bought the wrong holder and do not want to change! I really liked the label stickers to go with each pen. Then knowing where you pulled out the pen it will have its own home!

I recently saw this organizer on another video and knew I had to get it! Im missing about 40 colors so now im obsessing over getting those last ones 💀. Unfortunately at this point, all the sets I dont have like 4 or more dupes so I'm just going to have to buy them individually.

Oo nice organiser! The Tombow storage case is also a great solution as you can lay it out stacked or unstacked and also carry your markers in it.

Wow, that is a nice Tombow marker holder! Yes, I only have about 36 Tombows so far and it has been hard to store them. I did buy a little square, put-together holder, but then found out they need to be stored on their side so that little holder won’t work. Your new one looks dandy. Good advice on checking the caps. I get almost as much fun out of organizing as I do out of drawing. Maybe I have some OCD going on.

I have Tombow markers I've had over 7 years. Always stored them upright. I don't use them very often, but they still draw like brand new, no ink has dried up.

I know the storage system was designed for the Tombows, but I can't help but wonder if it might be a good fit for other long narrow markers like the Zigs. The stickers wouldn't match, of course, but would the markers fit? That's a rather nice looking compact solution.

They are great water-based warkers. Even on "mixed media" and unsized papers, they don't pill the paper like other water-based markers.

Love your info and you have a lovely speaking voice. Just the music playing while you’re speaking is distracting.

Excellent. I came across this sort of randomly and wow. It's really inspired me to remember my gorgeous full set of badly neglected tombow. Now I want to go look for a vedo of you using them! They were my first love I used for years but then everything switched to alcohol markers -- which I'm not that great at and which never seemed to have the vibrancy of the tombows. Psyched!!

I love your organisation with all your beautiful markers and I love love love your channel. I also would really love it if you could do a review and swatch some pastel highlighters ive seen the appearing all over the place but I'm unsure about and can't find a consistent review on them.

Would have been extra nice if they had thought to. include a good recessed carry handle on the top (recessed so you could set another on top without the handle getting in the way) and also a face plate/door so you could put it on and carry the totally protected pens to a gathering or something without worrying that they could fall out while being moved. I would love a similar box for color pencils, the other trays are too big and clunky for pencils.

It'll be interesting to see how this holds up over time and whether it still slides out cleanly after a year or so of regular use. Thanks for the review.

Agree. While cutting and applying individually would take longer and be more of a pain, it would be worth it for the years of having them exactly how you want instead of years of "settling."

A very cool organizer, I was wondering how big it was and how it would work, and I am pretty impressed. Amazon's price though is $52. Not indicated as a sale price, wonder if I should snap it up, lol!

I've really enjoyed your videos--so much that I've finally subscribed. I've hesitated to mention this in the past but since I'll be watching more frequently now, I'd like to very gently suggest that you turn off the music whenever you talk. You have such a beautiful, soft voice but when the music is playing while you're talking, it's so difficult to hear you. It could be that the problem is due to my older ears (I'm 73); but could you maybe give it a listen and see what you think? Try listening around the 1:30 mark where your voice gets a bit softer? Thank you so much for all the work you do to help us!

Sooooo beautiful! I probably missed it in a previous video, but what type of watercolor paper do you guys use? I do a lot of watercolor AND marker work, and would love to be able to combine them on a paper that’s also printable.

I love the tombow storage, it is so genius. I also use the spectrum noir storage for my Copics, it’s very versatile. Thank you for sharing your unboxing and how it all works and looks. On a side note, I was curious to see if you are planning on trying the Nuvo high pigment colored pencils, I recently was gifted them for Christmas and have no idea on their quality so before I unwrap them, knowing you are my go to expert I figured I would ask. You may have done this already in a video I missed if so I would love the link. Thank you again ❤❤❤

Love the new storage but in UK it’s just under £105…which is very expensive…might be on my wish list a long time…🤣🥰

This would be good to know. I have 320 ohuhu .over 200 arteza . And a range of spectrum noire. But it would be very expensive to house them all. But boy would it be nice.

Thanks for the review! Could the Luminance coloured pencils fit in these comfortably or would they rattle around loosely you think? Would it be possible to fit 2 pencils in 1 slot?

That thing is incredible for anyone with a touch of OCD. I wonder if you could rearrange the colors to your liking by rearranging the stickers with an exacto knife? Probably not worth it, lol!

A different question. I am confused about the storage, horizontal vs vertical. Tombow sells the complete set in a vertical storage tote bin. So, it must be okay to store them vertically??

That is a nice storage set up but I'd rather spend my money on new markers than storage trays so I made marker storage holders with old toilet paper rolls with hot glue, works fine for me.😀

@Jojo21899 yea that would work, the tp holders are a little short, you could cut paper towels holders but that's more work.😀

I have to confess I enjoy organizing and reorganizing my supplies even more than I enjoy using them haha I'm always looking for ways to make my space more efficient.

What water coloring paper do you use?

I love this storage solution, wish it was not made of plastic. I also love the pens, however, the orange colors are just not that pumpkin/Halloween orange

I have a weird question. How sturdy/stable is it? I have a mischievous siamese cat 1 1/2 years old who may decide to sit on it or jump down onto it from the top of our entertainment center. She is 10# or less weight. In your opinion would it hold up ok? It would not be a daily occurrence. Thanks.

I just got the Crafter's Companion marker storage. I wanted to use it for Prismacolor pencils but there are no directions for stacking them and I have no clue. I got them to stack but they don't pull out like you got them to do and short pencils won't show. Also, they just come apart while trying to figure out how to open them in the stacked but angled back direction. I've searched the webiste at both Crafter's Companion and for the manufacturer and no one show how - looked through your videos and don't see how to stack them. Is this a closely guarded secret? LOL Do you have any suggestions. .

Nice organizer. Do you know if it's true that Prismacolor is discontinuing two of their purple/violet coloring pencils?

It is true. My Colourful Country Life has a post in her Community tab showing an email from the manufacturer that they are discontinued because the pigment is no longer being made. I have seen more than one suggestion for substitutes.

I like these because I don’t like the smell of copics…I need those brain cells!

I only own 12 Tombows. Those are all my Walmart sells.

Can u use it for colored pencils instead?

Not necessarily because then the trays would have been moving around, including perhaps sliding back in a little. I think her way was perfect - no movement.

Love all yr shares and detailed applications. The other day ii had an ocd-ish cringy reaction on another channel watching handheld sharpener mis-used after learning from you how to best hold t e pencil and turn the sharpener (like a manual crank), and my own 'don't do that's moment tapping the pencil against the metal sharpener to dislodge the shavings...ii've snapped at cashiers who dropped multiple pencils into a waiting bag out of sheer ignorance or carelessness and gone back to replace them...yeah...but ii invest in better budget tools as ii can and they're not so precious ii don't use them, ii just like knowing how to prevent damage for long term use. Hot press water color paper is my preference or smooth Bristol or plate for markers over maker paper or rhodia paper for calligraphy but they keep my softer nibs from fraying. Do you use the koi water brushes? Along the way ii've learned so much about brands, and made a lot of mistakes getting to best practices. Thank you and Steve for all yr efforts.
