My New Car - 2022 Kia K5 AWD First View Video

In this video, I say goodbye to my mother’s 2013 Buick Regal Turbo, but hello to a new vehicle: the 2022 Kia K5 AWD! This car also replaces my 2018 Jeep Compass, because my lease ended on it. The runner-up vehicle to this K5 (what I would've gotten instead of it) was the Lincoln Corsair.
The modern Buick Regal is one of the most underrated cars GM has released in my opinion. It’s sporty and a lot of fun - I’ll miss it. I’ll miss my Jeep too, it was more agile than you’d expect and great in all weather conditions.
But back to the 2022 K5! I’ve had the car for a month and it’s excellent! Definitely another hit from Kia. Mine has the Highway Driving Assist system, navigation, a red leatherette interior, and many, many other cool features. I have already added tinted windows, red painted brake calipers, chrome trim and more to the K5. I’ll be posting a full review in the future and other K5 update videos. I worked at Kia while this car was in development and always wanted an Optima, so the K5 has sentimental value for me.
Never give up on your dream! It might just be sitting in your driveway one day! I think I’ll have this K5 for a long time.
Also - peep the new Kia logo and my Kia attire I dressed in to pick up the car. 👍🏾

Love the new K5! In a petty way, I'm glad to see that Buick go! I'm not a fan of GM cars at all...Im all Foreign here...But since you're from Michigan, I can't fought you for that..lol.
Dude I just inquired about this car WITH LEE and he told me he wasn’t getting this car till January 😂 from clarkston Michigan here 🙋🏼♀️

Haha oh wow! The chip shortage has gotten worse for them then. Plus Kia is selling well. I put a down payment on mine to hold it ($500) and I had to wait ~a month and a half for it to arrive or so to Summit Place Kia. But it was smooth once I did that! You can get the ambient lights, auto dimming rear mirror, etc. right through the dealer. Just have them roll it into the price of the car and your payments.
Dude that new Kia logo looks so good on that K5. The logo used to be so ugly, but darn!

Can’t get the K5 GT with AWD and I live in the great potholey, snowy state of Michigan lol. And I don’t like the Stinger enough to upgrade and pay an extra $10-15k. K5 GT-Line is a plenty for me!

@@jrslugwell K5 is nice too, so I’m straight honestly lol. And rumor mill says that 2023 might be the final year for Stinger. That’s too bad, I do think it’s nice. Yours looks good!

Idk about a lot of states but in a 300 mile radius form me in California there aren’t any gt’s. Idk if it’s because of the chip shortage but there were never any of the 2021 gt models. We always only have the gt line and the ex
Did you get the AWD premium package with the heated steering wheel?

yes he did because it has the wireless charging, navigation etc

Yes I did! You can always tell it’s an AWD K5 too if it has “Snow Mode”. FWD models won’t have that drive mode. So far, I’m loving it!
