Z3 Cubing, I love doing a checkered pattern by swapping adjacent colors on both sides. For instance blue with white and green and yellow. Unfortunately, you can only do that on every other odd puzzle like the 5x5 and 9x9 and 13x13. You can still do it on the 7x7 and 11x11 but you have to swap red and blue or red and white after because there's an edge parity.

If Alex doesn't say: "Hey guys, welcome back to Z3 Cubing!" at the beginning of the video, you know he's either really serious or REALLY EXCITED.

Your intro is so nice, came back to your channel after quitting cubing for 6 months, and the nostalgia was overewhelming.

Seeing giant cubes like this one reminds me of the time I thought 4x4s were so big they would be nearly impossible to solve

Now the 7x7 looks small and wow that’s s a insane cube I want it

This didn’t take that much longer to solve than it took me to film my collection video, but with what my experience with it would be...yeah might as well set aside my whole evening for this. Though I don’t know when or if I’ll ever get this, but this video shows that anyone can dedicate themselves to complete even the most daunting tasks.

Hey Z3Cubing, did you manage to set the tension somehow? Mine is SUPER hard to turn. Maybe I just need to lube it everywhere? The centre pieces don't pop off. The MF11 and MF12 that I have do have tensioning :(

I got the mfjs 13x13 for 120 SGD on offer, which equates to about 90 USD. turns like a dream, really nice and solid shades. edges are not as rounded so it does feel slightly uncomfortable at times, but still a joy to solve.

I have a MoYu 13x13 with stickers. But the stickers are so unstable and fall off pretty easily. Perhaps it's time for an upgrade.

I got a Petaminx on a black Friday sale for 140 dollars. It's normally over 200 dollars 😀

The first time I tried to solve a bigger cube than a 3x3 was a 6x6 and I got stuck on the edge pairing to solve all the edges and when I did it it just broke other ones when I put them together so I got so mad I threw my 6x6 on the ground and smashed it.

why are the corners and edges not the same size as all the centers

If you turn a cube bigger than a 5x5 by 45 degrees, the outer corners will end up hanging off the rest of the cube in an impossible manner. The best solutions are to pillow the puzzle and make the outer corners/edges thicker than the inner pieces.

I think the RS3M 2020 is a fantastic cube, and it costs less than 10 dollars. The magnets could be stronger, but I feel like the RS3M 2020 breaks in much better than my other cubes with stronger magnets.

There is a 17x17 cube, idk what site but you should try one, took one guy 5 hours to solve lol.
