    Like a little kid at Christmas. I really like that the battery is not integrated. Anything ever happens it’s very easy to change that battery and cradle. Everyone thinks that these new integrated batteries are the best thing. But it also gives the company a monopoly. Really really looks great.

    After 4 batteries on my Ecotric, I could not agree more. My first replacement battery was directly from Ecotric and was about 100 dollars more than a larger battery I later bought on ebay. Integrated batteries look nice, but then you are stuck in their ecosystem. If they do not have batteries available for what ever reason, you are stuck with having one special made. Not to mention they can seriously overcharge for the only battery that will fit on your bike. No thanks

    I never get notifications either. They just pop up when I am searching. I think we have to tick a box somewhere that I can not find to let them through. lol Yeah, I think I am racking up miles at twice the pace I did with my Ecotric and it is still cold out there. One thing I love, the computer monitors the voltage left in the battery. As you approach 39 volts, it slowly starts cutting back on available power so you do not run out as fast. It also keeps the battery cooler. My Ecotric batteries would just die boom and they would get real hot as they ran out. This battery is barely warm. It should make the battery last longer.

    Yeah, some of the reviews said it was a bear, so I was expecting it. The clamp worked pretty good once I figured it out. I tried bending the ends with a pvc pipe, it helped but the clamp made it doable. Hopefully they will get better as they go. Nice to hear that I was not the only one that thought the tail light setup was a no go. Sounds like they may have corrected the problem? Anyway, thank you so much for commented. You will love this bike. You may not need the extra battery. I ride 26-30 miles everyday and have plenty of power left over. The longest I have went was 41 miles and that was in the wind. Compared to the Ecotric, this battery is almost twice as big. If you do a second battery are you going to attach it or switch it out as you need it? I had a hard time getting my battery installed because it is so big it hit the top bar. I ended up moving the cradle down.

    Yeah, I thought of that but I did not want to make any alterations to the bike in case I had to send it back. It is something they should do at the factory, but I think they use the rack for more than one model of bike. After 2000 miles, it seems to have worked out pretty good as I have not had any problems. I was also kind of impatient, I really wanted to ride as fast as I could, so I looked for the fastest fix LOL Thanks for watching.

    I love an adventure. Yesterday I went searching in an old abandoned cemetery. It was pretty interesting. It was from the 1800's pretty much grown over, but some headstones were still visible. They even had some unmarked graves that were marked recently with a cross. They also had a sign that said, Satellite camera in use, which I doubt as it was laying on a post that had fallen over and was laying on the ground. Probably just put it there to discourage vandalism. I will probably use some footage in an upcoming video as it was interesting, at least to me ; )

    I have this bike as well. I’m not so sure it’s truly 2000w e-bike unfortunately. They only used 2 -22amp controllers on this bike plus I noticed they disabled the current readout and RPM readout on the display. This smells funny to me. On other 1000w motor e-bikes the least they normally use would be 30amp. Most 48v 1000w use 35amp controllers. I’ve also noticed when riding up slight incline in pas 4 or 5 mine gets about 15mph and my Aventon Aventure 750w single motor in same pas goes 23mph+ and doesn’t seem to struggle like these motors do. I’m guessing these motors aren’t anymore than 500w each and probably peak at around 750w+. I still enjoy the bike and it was same price as my Aventon Aventure but I’m not so sure Philodo is being honest with the consumers. I’ve asked for schematics from Philodo because they sent me 2 new controllers because they are thinking mine are bad but I’m not so sure they actually are. I believe they are just being dishonest about the actual motor outputs. I also noticed the rear wheel is out of alignment badly. It looks like they tried to adjust by adding a small spacer on opposite side of rear sprocket to keep the tire from rubbing the frame. I took to a friend of mine who makes his own frames and he said the frame isn’t true at all. Looks like it was eyeballed and why rear wheel out of line. I again asked Philodo about this and she stated that this is how the bike was designed and they are all like this. Again I find that odd but it is what it is. So far it doesn’t seem to affect the handling but my guess is I’ll see more wear on one side of rear tire over time. That’s all I have and again I do like my bike and Although it has a few issues and I’m not so sure it’s truly a 2000w bike it rides ok for what it is and Philodo has been very responsive to my concerns and seem to want to help but I do beg to differ on some of the things they stated and feel they aren’t being fully truthful.

  • @papablueshirt

    @papablueshirt

    Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for your input. The spacer on the rear sprocket is same as it was on my Ecotric, if you remove the spacer you can put a 8 tooth sprocket freewheel on it. I did notice the rear wheel was a little offset, but have not had any issues with it. It kind of just looks like there is more room on one side of the fork vs the other. Probably more of an issue of using standard off the shelf parts, and making things work. As far as comparing the speed, you may not know as I did not know that the two motors do not work in PAS. They only both work in walk mode or when you use the throttle. I get just shy of 35 mph. So the speed you get on pas is coming from the one motor. I can only compare it to my Ecotric, and this thing blows it away. I had a hill I call big bertha it is so steep it took over a month to work my way so I could make it up with my Ecotric zig zagging back and forth. This thing blows up the hill at 18 mph. You may be right on the motor size, but If I had to guess I would say they are 750 watt with 1000 peak. The company says they are each 1000 watt. Rad I guess says the same thing. So it seems that is common practice. I guess 2000 watt sounds better than 1500 LOL Thanks for the info on the controllers, that is nice to know. I took it off-road the other day for the first time and this thing is a game changer. I can go places I never thought I could ride, it was a blast. I am closing in on a 1000 miles and I am loving it. I am hoping the battery will outlast my Ecotric's batteries as I am on my 4th for it. Stay tuned I will be doing more updates soon, thanks for watching.

She was a little older than me and I valued her input. It was then that I figured out she herself was interested. To make a long story short, we began to date. A little time later I asked her to marry me, she just had to wait until I was old enough. LOL I always kid her, if she does not like how I turned out, she should have raised me different : ) My dad said she was the right one, the very BEST advice he ever gave me.
