@@daithimurphy1832 not me nut my mate he bought a 2020 one brand new and it was constantly in the dealers for the first 7 month with electrical issues . He finally with the finance company got the bike rejected as it was deemed not up to standard for a new bike after Inspection. Have heard a few issues with them from other people I know that had them at bike meets up here in Cumbria. It really put me off getting one after doing research on them and asking around

Some people complain that this is not a real naked bike. What baffles me is that no other manufacturer has copied this brilliant concept! What alot of naked bike owners (me included) complain about is the lack of wind protection , especially on the highway. Now having owned two Tuonos myself, despite being some years older than the one reviewed in this video, this bike is truly a marvel. Let alone the sound of that V4 is worth the money alone.

I also took delivery on my new Tuono V4 1100 about a month ago. I second everything you say. My only "frustration" is that I've always enjoyed full-throttle redlining various high-revving bikes i've owned (all 130hp or less). With the Tuono, full-throttle in second gear you're bumping the wheelie control rhroughout 😅, and full-throttle 3rd gear, you're over 100mph with lots of revs to go. So on public roads i find i have to shift at 8,000 rpms usually to keep my license in tact. I know I'm not going to get a lot of sympathy here, but I actually think it would be a more fun street bike at 900cc, so you could really ring its neck and hear that amazing sound at full glory. That said, I absolutely love it, and it has loads of power from 5,000 - 8,000 rpms.

Ya know I really shopped around. I looked at the 1390 Dukes, The tuono factory, the M1000R comp, and the Streetfighter V4S. And I chose the Streetfighter personally. The Duke was fun but, not what I wanted in the handling department I just didn't bode well with it. The M was great but sooo buzzy to ride and really didn't feel special to me. I'll say this. I didn't vibe with the Tuono personally, the weight and the ergos weren't for me. But you're right, nothing on earth sounds like that Aprilia V4. Nothing. I love my V4S, it fist the bill perfectly for me. And with the akrapovic exhaust it sounds fantastic. But the ape V4 is just a tier above everything with the way it sounds. And the sound alone and cruise control almost won me over. Lol

Fuel wise I generally reset the trip and refuel at 100 miles just to be safe as I have no gauge only a warning light. I’ve found It’s also possible to change suspension from A1 - M3 on the fly using the up and down cursor whilst on T2 display screen. Cheers Jake.

Greg, couldn’t agree more. I do wonder if in the V4 Tuono we have in many ways reached ‘peak bike’? Obviously it’s subjective and there are other great bikes, but there’s just something really ‘right’ about it! You can get faster bikes - but realistically it’s ‘too’ fast for the road. You can get lighter bikes - but honestly its about perfect to provide a supple ride with the suspension. You can probably get ‘faster’ handling bikes - but I’ve not ridden anything that feels as dialled-in as that Tuono/RSV4 front end. And the sound and feeling from the engine are hard to convey to anyone who’s not ridden one. I’m never selling mine 😂. (Partly because my wife loves it too and won’t let me)

I could listen to that idling for hours! Paint pops in the sun. Absolutely gorgeous machine. Characteristics that don't get in the way but you can learn to work with is what makes relationships with machines special - they need some thought and consideration from the rider. Whereas 'perfect' machines get very boring very quickly as it requires no real skill or consideration. I got rid of an S1000RR for this reason - a marvel of engineering, but once I'd got over the initial rush, I found rides more like a very dangerous version of a video game!

Would you consider test riding and doing a video comparing your Factory the standard Tuono V4 1100 ? I am thinking in terms of riding comfort for daily commuting with backpack/more comfortably, etc. but still getting some of that V4 awesomeness. Love the channel and happy your Factory brings so much joy to you man!

Big , big fan of the Tuono Gregorio, great choice 👏👏 And well done for answering a question I’ve been asking for ages, tank range, if it will do 110 ish miles to reserve light that’ll do for me 👍 any chance on your next video that you could record your mileage to reserve over the next 3 tankfuls or so and work out the range and mpg longhand, by calculation not just trusting what the trip tells you 🙏?? I have been fancying one of these for ages, so I think I’ll have a speed white one with some black forged wheels on it 😍 Just one last observation, is the brake lever on your bike set slightly higher than the clutch lever? Or am I just a bit cock-eyed 🐔?? Keep the videos coming, loving them 👍

Been considering this bike as an upgrade for my Streetfighter V2, I have put about 8,000 miles on it and absolutely love it but I think it's time to move on. I'm between the Tuono V4 factory or a Streetfighter V4 base. Very tough choice for me but the sound of the Tuono keeps me coming back to it. Great video!

Ridning position gets tiring att your wrists after a while. 4 some wierd vibrations at 6-7k. 5 Abit Slow to flick down in corners. But easy to fix. Fantastic engine tho.

if you think they are bad on fuel then try a 1299s Ducati, my light always came on at 80 miles then another 2o miles in reserve. My 2020 RSV4 Factory is similar to yours in that the light comes on at 110 miles, i have got 25 miles out of the reserve after that. filled up and had 2 litres spare. Makes a big difference to a sunday blast out

I have the 2021 and it’s absolutely amazing. The description of the quick shifter at low speeds is spot on and I too use the clutch around town. But when you use the throttle, the quick shifter is buttery smooth! I still have the stock can and the sound is amazing. Only thing I’ll do is Gabro upmap it now that it’s out of warranty. I’d be curious to know if you’ve already done it, or if you are planning to?

Fantastic looking and sounding bike, every time I sit on one at a show l think how tiny it is and how it fits me perfectly. As for the quickshifter, they were always meant to be used when on the power to save a bit of time when hard on it. I know some manufacturers have managed to program their shifters to enable smooth up and down changes at low speeds and throttle openings, but to me that's a lazy shifter, not a quick shifter, just use the clutch when pootling. Or go the whole way and get one of the the new electronic clutch options.

I totaled my ‘17 Tuono factory last year at the track. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about when I get to replace it. And after considering a dozen different bikes, it’s still the Tuono. I don’t see how it can be beat for spirited riding on the street and occasional track days. I have a multistrada for touring, so apart from that, it’s literally perfect. My quick shifter worked fine around town and always. Not sure what he’s on about.

I actually like that the Tuono is a non-naked naked bike; makes it easier to live with. Also, a Brembo MC like the 17RCS would not only improve brake feel but also offer a lot more adjustability.

IMHO the RCS isn't that great. The fixed ratio racing master cylinders are a cut above if you're willing to look a bit untidy with the unsightly wiring of a hydraulic switch for brake light activation.

They are far more comfortable than many many think and they tour very well too with a H&B rear plate. A tip here Gregorio - in T2 screen, you can actively change the ASC modes - ON THE FLY!
