This is all very surreal to me. My father (marine) was stationed there many times when I was a child. This was 40-50 years ago. He would end up there every four years or so. It is so interesting to see where he was through your eyes although I am sure much has changed.

Great beach you've got there. I haven't visited a real beach in Japan, only Lake Kawaguchi, which is near Mt. Fuji. It's all volcanic rock along the shore and you can walk out pretty far on it.

I served in the Corps on Okinawa in 66. Looks nicer now. I was at Sukiran, renamed Foster. Adjacent to Naha. Our area worked 3 shifts a day shipping gear to Nam, flown from Kadena AFB. Had a little time for sightseeing but I was too young and dumb to realize the opportunities. Thanks for the remembrances and new views.

Get to Kin Blue Beach up North and KINVILLE around Camp HANSEN.. They celebrate everything we celebrate bruh and OBAN. About the eating bruh WRONG. America has a Kentucky Fried Chicken place outside Gate 2 Street , Polo Loco's and other crap. They sell American cigarettes to them so the cancer rate increased long with fat kids. get to Gate 2 street and a few other places. Now the majority of them eat well and have long life spans, but America tries to f^^k that up with its McDonalds and other crap . There was a McDonalds across the street from Camp Foster that sold cokes that ruin the teeth and raise the diabetes of course and a KOBE steak House there. I remembered the club now. Its called "THE STAGE" down in NAHA if it is still there. MEN ONLY.
