    I turn 45 this year and the advice I received from this video has GREATLY improved my skin. I glow now and look so youthful again. My skin was so dry and lacking. My skin is bright and dewy. I've been doing this for about a month, but saw results pretty quickly. Thank you Thank you!!!

    I'm currently using: The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser Inkey PHA Toner (at night) Avene RetrinAL C.E.O. Glow Vit C +Turmeric Oil Olay Pro-Retinol Eye Treatment (already had this, going to try your recommended next) Clinque Moisture Surge (morning) Clinque Moisture Surge Overnight Mask (night) I already had the clinque, so going to finish those and then try your recommended product. I wasn't taking care of myself at all and it's amazing that giving myself this attention has turned back the clock. I really do look more youthful, and I feel pampered. The info you gave in your video helped tremendously!

    well, she is actually putting an oil before the moisturiser, so the DE Protini is completely useless and wasted, I wouldn't really trust what she's doing...

  • @andie1508

    @andie1508

    Жыл бұрын

    @@xtian384 Depending on the oil, that is actually the correct way to layer skincare products. Caroline Hirons (among many others) has always recommended oil before moisturizer. But from my own research, it basically depends on the oil. Some oils are very heavy and should be applied last. Others are lighter and have smaller molecules and should be applied before moisturizers. Vintner's Daughter is an example of an oil that always goes on BEFORE moisturizer. Also May Lindstrom's and DeMamiel's oils go on first. You just need to do your research with each product.

  • @xtian384

    @xtian384

    Жыл бұрын

    @@andie1508 in relation to this issue, there are two major types of oil: carrier and occlusive. If it’s a carrier oil, you and Miss Hirons would be correct. But this contains both types of oils, so no, you both are incorrect and wasting your money. Specifically, as you should know by your own “research”, jojoba oil is a very well known sealer. Also, Miss Hirons is the same “expert” that says that, if you rub your product on your palms too long it’s going to be wasted because absorbed by your hands, which is impossible since your palms don’t have pores. And she’s supposed to be a “SkIn EXpErT”. Good luck with that.

  • @andie1508

    @andie1508

    @@xtian384 wow, got a very unexpected dose of hostility there. Where's it coming from? FWIW, CH's recommendation about not rubbing products unduly in your palms before putting them on your face has more to do with wasting products. And yes as anyone can test at home, our pore-less palms can absolutely accept and hold onto skincare products like oils, serums, creams, etc.

  • @xtian384

    @xtian384

    Жыл бұрын

    @@andie1508 Hostility is in the eye of the beholder. Just giving you information based on actual research. Do whatever you want of it. Your waste is not my problem. Jojoba still remains a sealer and will prevent Protini to get absorbed. Wanna waste $70? Go ahead. As per CH"s issue, try and rub hand cream on your palms, and see how long it takes to get actual ABSORPTION without them remaining slippery and greasy. Good luck with your "research".

I’m currently using nothing on my face 😬 because I’ve literally run out of everything, so I really need to stock up on some new products. Love your videos! I live in Dubai also, I have a shower filter but when I don’t shower I avoid using water on my face for skincare as it’s so hard and full of chemicals etc. I use my drinking water filter to wet a kitchen towel for my face pre moisturiser etc when not showering. Do you use a water filter on your tap when washing your face, or do you have a home filter system? How do you avoid this as Dubai tap water makes my skin break out badly

    I wish I could use the squalane cleanser. I had a reaction after several weeks of use and my sister had a bad reaction after 4 days of use.

    Sephora skin care rep directed me to the caudalie vinyl serum when I asked for vitamin c and she said it’s the only one that has the ability to penetrate skin , she said she wouldn’t recommend anything else for vitamin c. I was wondering how much of that would me correct though. Also wondering how the Sunday Riley compared to the caudalie. Between you are beautiful and your skin looks so good. Just found your channel and I’m so grateful I came across you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    the Sephora skin care rep lied to you inn order to sell you the product, or she is completely incompetent. Any well formulated L-ascorbic acid serum with a Ph around 3.5 will penetrate and stay inside your skin for 72h, even if you wash your face.

    Great info and awesome skin, thanks! Curious to know how your foundation holds after all of this skincare. Does it breakdown or do you have a recommendation for one that can hold up?

    Hi!! Question! I have been usin organic sweet almond oil on my face after washing for years now and I actually look about 10-15 years younger than my age! Question is if I get the vitamin c and turmeric you used do I use it before or after the sweet almond oil? Thank you! 🥰

    I have no use here. I am just 16 but thought it would be useful for my mom who is 42 😊 and apart from your youth ful skin i love your honesty. Just a tip don't use a towel on your face instead let it air dry.

    You look great. Your skin looks like you take great care in it. Have you had any procedures done? Botox, eyebrow lift, fillers? Or do you recommend any type of facials, microneedling, microdermabrasion Or light therapy? I’m curious because those things also make a big difference when it comes to fine lines and deep lines And I was considering getting Botox between my brows but I have heard mixed reviews about long term side effects of repeated Botox on the brain since it is a chemical.
