My morning routine: A good day vs a bad day!

In this video I show you the difference between my morning on a good day and my morning on a bad day. And why 10 minute timers keep me afloat as a busy mum!

Can you tell me exactly what they're called - or maybe just similar ones that I can find on Amazon? Weird, I know, but we don't have that style of trash bag in my area.

I know this is gonna sound crazy, but when we were trying.....and trying lol, I started some reverse psychology on myself. I made myself think like, I cannot get pregnant...I cannot get pregnant. Kind of like it'd be a terrible thing or I'd get in trouble or something, lol idk. I didn't think of it that way, but lots of people get pregnant when they don't want to, so let's give it a go. I could swear it worked like a charm. I have twins now after a few losses, including another set of twins. I always hope it works for someone else. It can be a long and emotionally trying road, I know. Sending lots of love, hope, and luck your way. ❤

I've lost my two dogs in the last 5 months. Back in October we lost our oldest, after months of us and himself fighting for his life. Then just when we were starting to breathe a little easier and gaining back some hope in life - I have a tiny KZread channel and even posted my first video after months of not posting - our 9 year old dog had a medical emergency and he passed away unexpectedly. It's been a nightmare. This is the lowest I've ever felt in my life, I feel heartbroken, depressed, hopeless, anxious, scared, angry and find it really hard to function. Simply showering has become a massive task and work is dreadful. Every day I want to quit. All this goes to say that your videos have been a blessing❤. You've been helping me so much maintaining some sort of normality in my home. Cleaning along with your videos has been feeling more helpful than therapy - which I'm doing as well. And your voiceovers are so precious and relatable, sometimes I genuinely feel like you're in my head, speaking out my thoughts. So I just wanted to say thank you, Remi. Thank you for being vulnerable, for genuinely wanting to help out other people. And thanks for sharing the reality of maintaining a home. Also, I know it's been a few months since you lost your precious dog, but if you're anything like me you're most likely still grieving, so I just wanted to say that I am so, so sorry for your loss. Know that you are not alone ❤‍🩹 (apologies for the long-ass comment)

You are one of the most amazing and keep-it-real women on KZread! As a single mother of one now adult son, I remember how hectic mornings could be. I have always been a night owl and did most of my cleaning and tidying up at night so I wouldn't go crazy in the morning. I truly believe you give a lot of inspiration to young struggling mothers out there by reminding them that you don't have to be perfect. Everyone has their own struggles and their own way of dealing with them. Your advice of not comparing yourself to others is one of the most valuable pieces of advice! You rock! It didn’t matter how organised I was , I was literally always on the last minute for the school run . As a 56 yr old Mum ( all children grown and flown the nest ) I can say to all you beautiful parents out there .....time passes way to fast 💨so as difficult as it is at times try to embrace the chaos and never be too hard on yourselves...... we all do the best we can with how we feel at the time . Remi, I'd like to offer that anything you do 1x per week may not be "rare". I only offer this bc it is worth celebrating! YOU did that. You got to a point where about once a week you get up early and even if it isn't as often as you want it to eventually be, it counts as one of your triumphs. You're constantly affirming us and I hope this sentiment sounds familiar to the way you encourage others bc I couldn't wait to reflect back to you a little of the good energy you put out into the world.

So part of why I became literally obsessed with your content, and relate to you so very much like deeply. I know that a lot of why that is, is the neurodivergence I have the most severe adhd that is charted here in Canada. I wasn’t diagnosed until 32 and then finally now properly medicated at 37 and have spent the past 5 years learning how to manage my adhd as best I can. On the “good days” anyway. But I truly am in awe of how much you understand not only about yourself but like others. Whether it be those who are like us, or those who are neurotypical. You are so very wise. Truly. I’ve loved your content. (found you here on KZread at first) I find my self growing my own knowledge and acceptance of various things but particularly myself, due to your content. I even made a TikTok and sometimes I will see some content over there too. I’m not very familiar with the App, which usually means that I don’t often open it lol But when I am in need of “Remi support”, as I like to think of you content as, I know right where to find your accounts. So yeah, Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge, experience and understanding of how life just really is. I thank you so so so much for putting yourself out there to make sure those of us that need to hear you or really need your content. To be raw like that online is beyond brave, and to open yourself up to that possible scrutiny and criticism!!! Especially that because some people are genuinely cruel. I personally, have benefited immensely because of you sharing that reality. Which for a lot of us, is very real. And only those of us that have to live in such a mental state like ADHD or any neurodivergence, will ever understand how hard it really is just to simply live some days. Oh, also… I’m from the “facebook era” lol ‘ ..and I just want to say sorry, for all the rotten people who are stealing your content trying to profit, claiming to be you. It actually makes me sick. Because I absolutely know and understand how hard it would be for you to even make that content in the first place. When I was in high school, around 15 years old, I remember that there was a Student charged, or something to that effect, for plagiarism, due to use of another persons written words. (Granted it was a regular occurrence for the student as far as I understand) But like how was that huge of a deal, and stealing someone actually voice and their image like actual videos of the creator themselves talking, not. I mean I understand that is hard to enforce that kind of thing online but come on people it’s theft regardless and very wrong. 😑

Just found this channel, and I've watched several of your videos in the last few days, and I have to say I'm really enjoying your videos. They are very realistic for busy people and are helping to change my thoughts. Everything doesn't need to be perfect every minute of every day. Which is something I struggle with. I always end up wearing myself out cleaning constantly. So, thank you for your videos. I'm going to continue watching them. Please keep posting! ❤

I just discovered your channel and I LOVE it and subscribed. It’s so refreshing to watch a mom who is REAL! And down-to-earth, and kind to herself, no matter if it’s a good or bad day. I wish this would have been on 14 years ago when I first became a mom and was so hard on myself. ❤

Love this video so much ❤ I’m 47 and 3/4 😂 March 25 is my birthday and I’m a grandma of 5, they range from the ages of 3 wks old , 4,5,6 and 7. I had all of them over the wknd and my house was turned upside down but it was all worth it. I have 4 cats as well. The 4 and 7 live with us and mum does too but I get them up and ready for school since she works early. I have to clean every single day so it stays under control, some days I feel like a robot. I’m proud of you for getting your steps in as well. This video made my day and I’m going to watch it again after this message. You are beautiful and I’m not just saying that. Give the kids a hug for me and while I watched your video I was in bed under the blanket. My hands smell like bleach from cleaning yesterday. The kids and I baked cupcakes, I cooked and my husband made crème brulee. I had so many dishes. Plus the kids running mad throughout the house but I waited till the party was over and everyone had fun to worry about the mess. You inspire me ❤

I do Get Fit With Rick too. They’re great videos - easy to fit in a busy day. In theory my days are organised, but in practice it’s more like two or three organised days, three chaotic ones, and one frantic catch up day!
