Paola has been through a lot at such a young age. Internal suffering, for some, has a way of bringing wisdom through a forced change in perspective on life. She is an old soul on the inside, manifested outwardly through a childlike innocence and purity. This is why she is a real life angel and a gift to us all.

Hi Paola, I was getting a tickle in the back of my throat like I had a cold coming on too this morning. I designed a machine for making colloidal silver and electro-medicine. Treated the area with my colloidal silver, and within an hour all symptoms had abated. I love that you're making your own tinctures, and nothing is wasted. You're tapping in to your inner alchemist or mad scientist. This week, I made cheese for the first time, and it turned out really well. Seeing you and others being creative inspires all of us to do the same. Much Love to you

I guess, reflecting back, I would say, take care of each other, always have each other's backs especially if inlaws or family start to criticize. Apologize and forgive, learn to communicate during arguments, give each other lots of space to be their own person. Oh and lastly, you do not have to sleep in the same bed to have a good relationship. My husband is a terrible snorer, goes to bed much later than I do, and we are both easily awaken by the other, so we've slept in separate beds for many years and get much better sleep because of it. I've come to the conclusion that I don't really need much of anything anymore, but to just have meaningful things around me that reflect my inner self and bring me peace. Being alone these days, and with minimal contact with others, I've come to cherish a more simple and minimalistic approach and making due with what I have. I love this. I grew up poor and it taught me many valuable lessons about how to live frugally. How to pay attention to my emotions because retail therapy was simply not an option. I am deeply connected to nature and never lost that connection. I feel grateful that a materialistic life never took hold. It got harder as I grew up into my own person and started making way more than I had as a child. I went through a couple years of overspending but realized that it never brought joy, it never fulfilled. And now, what I value the most is my time. And how I spend my time is equally as important as how I spend my money, maybe even more so. In times that I feel that urge to go buy cool/fun things I ask myself "have you gone on an adventure/outside today?" And I noticed it often hits when I have been cooped up inside. The instant cure is stepping outside and taking deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling gratitude for all that I have been given, the small and great things. A grateful heart is so important.

I really like this. I've always been a thriftstore shopper, but this year i began mending clothes, not feeling like buying much. I went through the winter with all my old clothes. As i get older, certain things matter less, and other things matter more. The first time i met him my 80 year old acupuncturist said to me, "Simple life is best." Like your videos, this felt very supportive to me in a world that wants me to want things that don't increase my sense of wellbeing or happiness. I haven't watched for awhile but am glad i came back.

I used to love blending essential oils and making shower gels too. One of my favourite experiences was making a perfume at the Cotswold Perfumery. The gardens look beautiful and reminded me of a few gardens we enjoyed last summer in Cornwall by the sea😍 Tea is another way I nurture my love of scent too:) I really enjoyed the video thank you and it can definitely be tempting to buy treasures of some kind to get through difficult times rather than pause for thought!:)Have a lovely weekend!💌💗

Hello. I do have a kind of a wild-grown garden. But you, Cottage Fairy, inspired me to plant flowers in the balcony where there have never been any plants or flowers before. Now I also look forward to helping them grow and pamper them. I have now two baskets with colorful flower plants in pots, and plan to have two more baskets. They are blooming and my mother really enjoys the plants. Butterflies, birds, bees, and frogs might decide to come to be around them too. I now look forward to watching them in the morning and sending them some sweet and kind thought to them. I am kindly enjoying my flower plants as they thrive and bloom in the small balcony. Thank you and God bless you. ❤

To find beauty in the moment and to create it in our home or garden is a gift to cherish and nurture. Thank you for encouraging us to remain focused or to refocus and connect with our spirit and creation.

It's great to see you, how you're doing & what you're sharing 😊 I noticed in the making of your perfume you used aluminium foil to pour the essential oil through. Aluminium disturbes the qualities of herbs & things like oils. I read that a long time ago & since that I've noticed that everytime that I have moisturized my hands & then touched something of aluminium, I felt uncomfortably hot where my skin was in contact. So I hope you find something else you can make a nice funnel out of 🙏 the perfume will also last a lot longer if you contain it in dark coloured glass. I reuse the bottles from the oils I buy, which are great, but I like the lid you use better, than the ones that comes with these oils 😊 I want to mend my clothes as well, but haven't gotten around to it yet, but encourage me 😊🙏 Thank you for sharing & living the life you want to live 😇❤🙏

Thank You for yet another powerful upload! I'm now at the stage of my life where I've organically grown into being a minimalist and a mindful consumer. The AHA MOMENT came in my mid-30s when I suddenly discovered that I had more than I needed and loved all that I had acquired. I concentrated on being an exceptional caretaker of what God Blessed me with, while refraining from adding additional unnecessary items that require time, effort, energy, and/or money to maintain. I enjoy the freedom that comes with keeping things I'm personally responsible for at a level requiring minimum effort. I too went through many ups and downs along my journey. Some employers paid more, while others offered less. Some areas in The States offered cheaper housing, while others demanded top dollar. The key to navigating the numerous unknowns for us was to control what we could by living below our means. Through it all, I've come to truly embrace Lao Tzu's statement that "in all of nature, no storm lasts forever".

So often at beautiful parks and zoos and gardens you unfortunately find loud or invasive influencers taking over a beautiful place and standing in front of the beauty they claim to care about, but this person actually likes what she surrounds herself with and is respectful of others and the area. I wish others would take after her-- she's a perfect example of how to film public spaces respectfully

The push to buy, buy, buy to me is so disturbing. So much waste, so much disposable stuff. When all you need to do is reuse things you have, support local thrift shops, make items yourself. Most importantly, as you speak of, is being mindful of what you are spending your hard earned money on. Is it wanted or needed? Big difference. Does it support or harm the planet. All sorts of things to take into consideration when you spend mindfully. Great topic!!

We tried for 15 years, and sadly, it did not happen for us, and I have been divorced now for about 23 years, but I did have my own nursery school back in the 90s, so loved having all the children come through and nurture them, and hope they went on to have good lives. It was about 20 years ago now. Love from Jilly & rescue greyhound Madge, in Devon, England. xxx

Wonderful images of the botanical garden, you have such a talent for bringing out the loveliest aspects of places. You also have a wise attitude about "stuff." It's very healthy to appreciate the beauty of simple things, especially ones that are handmade. But it's also wise to avoid becoming too attached. I think your idea of giving some of the things you love to friends and family is a beautiful one.

Two thoughts. 1. Starting at age 19 I planned for a simple life a life that was immune to the rampant inflation of the early 1970s. I secured some land in a place I knew I could always call home. I built a home partly underground, oriented to the sun that was very well insulated and had the thermal mass to take advantage of passive solar heating. Passive solar and the various factors that go with it do 75 % of my heating. I added a wood cookstove that could be fueled from the land using about a cord of wood per year for cooking, water heating, and backup space heating. There is no need for central heating even in Vermont. For the remainder of my energy needs I installed a wind generator system supplemented by PV solar. Gardening, root cellaring, canning etc helped with the food as long as my back can deal with it. Motorcycles and cars that get over 50 mpg covered my transportation needs Bicycling, cross country skiing, and human and electric powered boating are my recreation. My only necessary expense is property taxes which were minimized by the home design. 2. Children are incredibly expensive. I recommend saving much more than you think you will ever need before embarking on that adventure. Don’t try to cover that expense from your periodic cash flow like everyone does. It is a source of constant stress which one doesn’t need when trying to be a good parent. And children will always turn on you for some period of time, hopefully briefly. It is the necessary nature of that endeavor.
