I am a big DC fan and fan of Zack's work. I came here just for the reaction but subscribed because of how you explained to your mom the absolute truth of what happened...not a single detail wrong...the whole thing was so beautiful...haven't seen any reactor until now who actually had a nuanced and unbiased understanding of what really went down. And your mom's really cool.

This Aquaman is before his movie, before he comes into his full power.

The Snyderverse is so incredibly underrated. I loved MOS, BVS (Snyder cut 😏) and his cut of JL. I think Cavil, Affleck and Gadot are perfect casting for the main three. Great reaction. Always fun to find another fan of Snyders DCEU.

Hi gotta tell her... That aquaman movie is after justice league in OG time wise... In end of this justice he says I'll see my father, then he goes to his father which in Aquaman movie.... Aquaman movie start from that.

This is a great epic superhero film that fans wanted to see.

Snyder's version is 100 times better!

The theatrical release was an underwhelming one-and-done for me. I watched the Snyder cut at a friend's house and watched every clip I could find on KZread awaiting the Blu-ray release. It has depth.

Finally,a true fan knows what was going on Zack and WB,looking forward to pt2.

This version comes highly recommended by fans of the DC Big 3 and Snyder fans alike. Enjoy.

Her name is gal gadot, the "t" isn't silent. And the "o" sound doesn't sound like in the word ow-n, It's like the "a" as in the word a-ll (Hebrew is my native langauge)

I don't speak Hebrew, but when I've heard her pronounce her own name, "Gal Gadot" pretty much rhymes with "astronaut."

The fact that DC doesn't want to follow up on this storyline is a travesty. Snyder in this movie gave the most comic accurate portrayal of just how powerful some of these characters are. SMDH.

Another big part of the reason they rushed to get the theatrical version out was so Warners executives could get bonuses for releasing the film that year.

One of the best superheroe movies.

Consider that Warner Bros dumped the Supergirl movie and Acme v. Coyote, it shows how little they care for the history of these franchises.

I don't recall Barry Allen being afraid of anything in the comics.

The Snydercut already existed and the fans willed WB to release it.

The first "Suicide Squad" was the beginning of the end of the DCEU. Warner Brothers treatment of Snyder is despicable.

I actually like ezra as Barry Allen, i know all the whoa haw in real life like everyone else, but as a char in films, i liked his version of Barry Allen. more than the tv grant. and i watched every episode of that show, i dont think his barry would fit well in snyders world. maybe more james gunn. i also enjoyed the film the flash but i cant say why cus spoilers but i really enjoyed it. i just hope u both give it a go if u get a chance to see it 👍🏻 Cyborg was in older mags and cartoons like Super Friends (1973-1985) voiced by stars like Ernie Hudson. in this film synders cut, he felt like the heart of the justice league for me

Glad you mentioned Ernie Hudson voiced Cyborg because he was coming off from the first Ghostbusters film around that time. Ironically, Zack Snyder's Justice League and Ghostbusters: Afterlife made me cry when seeing them in 2021 because my heart broke for Zack for his loss, and I miss Harold Ramis.

I knew it Diana's dad is Zeus other people were saying Ares nope, it's Zeus the king of the gods. Greek gods anyway lol.

Nick & Jen, you both are marvelous. I can't wait to see your reaction Jen to Superman (on disc 2). And Nick the little knowing smirks you give us when your Mom hits on something is so great. You both are examples of why American's love Canada. Eh!

In regards to the Whedon cut, there are two scenes I actually liked. The initial Batman scene with him using a criminal as bait to draw out the parademon, because that seems like something Batman would do, and the Aquaman lasso of truth scene cuz it made me chuckle a bit. Otherwise yeah, the rest is pretty much forgettable.

I love how you said Five Armies...not just as a reference to the final battle in The Hobbit but also each of the five Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Barry Allen, Cyborg represent an army on their own. That's why they go on to form the Justice LEAGUE, not the "Justice Troup" or "Justice Legion."

when i first saw this film, I DID not notice the mustache removal on Superman... alot of people didnt, until the INTERNET made a big deal of it when it was disclosed it was ERASED digitally.... its NO BIG DEAL

The villain that loses in the battle of heroes scene is UXAS which is Darkseid’s early form. He had not received the OMEGA powers, which is the main reason he lost that battle. Also the man who originally created the Darkseid character for DC Comics was hired by Marvel to create characters for their comics and was tasked to create a Darkseid character for their comics so he created Thanos in Darkseid’s image which is why everyone sees some similarities but Darkseid in his true form i with the OMEGA effect is extremely more powerful than Thanos. The story lines for this universe are so expansive and mind blowing it just doesn’t make sense to reboot everything. We were literally so close to finally getting a movie with Darkseid, Granny Goodness, DeSaad, The Martian Manhunter, Ryan Reynalds return as The Green Lantern along with John Stewart’s Green Lantern. And many others, what a waste of opportunities

Jack Kirby (1917-1994) created the Fourth World saga aka Darkseid and The New Gods (sounds like a 70s progressive rock band). You're right about the loss opportunities with the characters you mentioned. The thing I love and admire about Zack is he sees comic books as a legitimate art form (went to art school before film school) and understands the human condition (can Superman, let alone superheroes exist in a post-Sept 11 world?). Unfortunately, clueless studio executives were on his ass. His daughter's suicide was the breaking point, and it didn't help that a bad example of narcissism and nepotism replaced him. I'm glad this film exists.

@@Madbandit77 Zack seems to be ahead of his time because no other film maker has the vision and skill set to literally bring the pages of a comic to life seamlessly onto a movie screen. A good example is the scene in Batman v Superman when Doomsday is chasing after Batman there is the part where he is using his grappling gun to avoid Doomsday and when he turns and jumps from a wall lightning strikes at the same time, which comes from the pages of The Dark Night comic. He did the same things on 300 and The Watchmen, just a brilliant and talented man. Too bad he receives so much hate for it and for no legitimate reason

Darkseid was created for DC by Jack "King" Kirby in 1970. Thanos was created for Marvel by Jim Starlin in 1973.

General was Martian manhunter....and they actually spoiled it in man of Steel..... Remember the scene when Superman willingly chose to get handcuffed by human officers...and when he breaked the handcuff.... everyone pulled back except for general he stood still and talk face to face without a move....that showed general was an alien and other were human who got scared and fall back

15:58 Language mother Jen 🤣This reminded me so much of my mum when she would tell my sister & I of for swearing then add 'Do as I say & not as I do'. 💌 I really wish movie companies would let producers & directors make the film they wanted to tell in the way they wanted to tell it instead of a "Formulaic Cash Crab" the companies want to make to a fixed budget. It is bad enough that book to movie conversions have to leave out so much of the book to fit time constraints but it is a crime to cut down an already made movie to fit the 1 hour 30 minute time requirement companies & theaters want to push through as many screens as possible in a day. We the people have the power as shown here, we just should weld it more often.

DC League of Super Pets was a fun movie too... but junkie xl aka tom holkenborg was fired by whedon for the theater cut. holkenborg tell this hans zimmer and he said "this happens in the job sometimes"
