Watch rbp trains he has a layout that is basically overkill and you should also watch csx42 because well this layout isn’t fully built yet

Finally, someone who acknowledges N&W’s Y series. On another note, if you are ever in the Chicago area, I would recommend visiting the Illinois Railway Museum.

That Y6B is a beauty! My old rivarossi one is no match lol. Sound and smoke fitted models are so cool, I understand the feeling, becaue I have an MTH UP#9000. So cool

Awesome engines! My personal favorite I own is the Broadway Limited Blueline PRR T1 5506 w/ DCC & sound, it's pretty much my go-to engine that I run at my model train club.

@@gearandalthefirst7027 I was lucky and got it at a local train show for $250. Ebay and trains shows are ur best bet for finding good trains for "cheap", but you gotta do the looking 👀

You should try the megasteam Scented train smoke. Personally, I don’t mind the smell of model train smoke, but if you want to make It more bearable, they have scents like apple cider, cedar, lavender and many more

DCC sound locos are so much fun, especially EMD diesels, they have such a nice notch up

A bit of history on your 2-8-2, it was only one of five of the USRA light Mikados that the PRR kept out of the 38 that were foisted on them by the USRA during WW1, the rest being sold to the Frisco and MoPac in 1923. Designated class L2 and numbered 9727-9731, they were all retired by 1948.

You have a very nice collection of locomotives I was not expecting a 2-8-8-2 loco I’ve always wanted to own one but my eyes are on the UP 4-8-8-4 Big Boy, My collection has a golden age of steam 2-8-0 Santa Fe(DCC) loco along with four diesels 2 F7 A units(DC) a gp38(DC) and a gp9-m loco(DCC).

I have a wacky collection myself. I double headed a Bachmann 4-4-0 with a scale tains super turbine. Very fun.

I've been to Despatch Junction with my grandpa a few times before. Small world.

I’m mostly a nerd in aircrafts but trains are in second place for my favorite vehicles.

That Mikado is amazing, I wish they had a nice one in O scale that is reasonably priced

@@SmallTown_Studio I know right. I predominantly model in HO but I have an O gauge 3-rail layout. I haven’t been able to get it expanded past a loop because it’s just too expensive and I only have a small amount of money in my wallet.

I'd love to get into O scale but unfortunately they aren't widely available in Australia (majority of the shops I've visited only stock the cars but not the locomotives)

Once I went to Despatch, and got a postwar O gauge GG1 for $50 usd, which is an absolute STEAL of a deal

very nice engines, I used to have some model trains stores here in town but both shut down to to lack of customers which made me very sad, I own lot of ho scale trains including a BNSF gp40-2 made by Bachman, a union pacific made by Bachman (I forget what it is lol), a old and need of repair Chattanooga 0-8-0 again by Bachman, a Conrail gp35-2 which idk who made, a new edition to my collection southern pacific (idk the mode but by far the worst motor I've seen, most likely missing parts, corroded, and rust everywhere) idk who made it, and another new addition to my collection being a Canadian pacific 2-6-0 high hood premier series made by IHC, I'm to scared to unbox it, i have a crap ton of cars, a shed, and other stuff, i love your vids and hope to see more train vids of yours. @csx42 The heavy moutain ( N&W 120) you have is an excellent locomotive, probably one of the best bachmann ever made due to it's dicast boiler. Seemed a little jerky on camera though. This may be due to two components on the circuit board in the tender, called RF capacitors. They are on there due to requirements in some countries having to do with television interference. However, they cause performance issues on DCC. They can be identified on the circuit board in the tender as two little yellow blobs, possibly labled C1 and C2. Cut them off and your engine should run much smoother.

If I had ANY confidence in picking apart these models then maybe I would consider it. I’m not too concerned though. I got it for a great price and if it’s a little shaky I’ll just deal. Maybe down the line I’ll have a look. I appreciate the advice though!

As someone who works in the biggest Train Company in Europe, DB, or specifically said, DB Cargo in my part, trains and trailers in a wide variety are something I deal with every day. I really like your Content, even if I just found you today, I find it amazing how excited people can get over trains, and even speaking for myself, when I see German Trains in Models or even Mods like Immersive Railroading, I do also get really excited. So, anyways, love your Content, keep up the good work! ♥

I have that y model (the Yellowstone) but it doesn't want to power up when I put it on the track
