The store Unique reminds me of a huge Savers - especially the packaged "little stuff" wall.

Next time you head to the midwest, check out Pella, Iowa.. a dutch community with awesome local thrift stores plus the Windmill antique store. That antique store is stacked and packed floor to ceiling with tons of cool items. I'm talking like hoarder level. Lots of mid century items too!

1st time viewer here, and I've just watched a few of your videos. I can't believe how many Goodwills you have where you are. We have none that I know of anywhere. We do have Thrifty Shopper and ARC thrift store, and I love antiquing for a good vase!

I live in Minnesota and I literally drool when I watch your videos. I was cracking up at how fast you guys whipped through the Goodwills and had the music going most of the time 😂 Our Goodwills suck. Bottom line. Sooo glad you got to some of our smaller vintage stores. Come back to our Goodwills in another 30 years and all of the cool stuff will be there 😂

I also live in Minneapolis, our goodwills are really hard to find good things in honestly. I gave up going to them and now I just go to the smaller mom and pop thrift stores.

Goodwills in the Twin Cities are not worth the effort of stopping. They used to be so much better for vintage, but have changed over the past 5 years or so. Other thrift stores in the area are much better! Currently watching this a second time to try to figure out which locations you were at, so I can go tomorrow and see if a few things I spied are still there 😃 Glad you were able to find a few goodies!

I also think you may have missed our largest Salvation Army store, with the "secret" basement level. It's so fun to see people as excited about thrifting as I am!

The brown bag is a vintage Court in British Tan. The black one was a Coach Willis (my favorite). Get a replacement Turnlock closure from Etsy. Use Lexol leather cleaner and a good conditioner like Bick 4. It will look beautiful once you are done.

Yes! They were two different models. The handles are different. I have the black Willis, bought new around 1997. The only thing I don't like about it is how heavy it is, even with nothing in it.

I cannot get over how tidy the Goodwills and Salvation Army are in Minneapolis! Ours in FL are disaster areas. And usually PACKED with shoppers. And, Maya, I have the exact same attraction to swirl designs!

The ones I've been to in FL are not that cheap! But they do have good sales. My friend and I always hit up the charity shops--lots of old folks donating their stuff in Florida, lol! It's a good place to thrift coats and sweaters! This summer I got some furry hats at a Florida charity shop. I'll def need them in my state.

Here you are traveling all over the place thrifting and it takes me forever to get my husband to take me to just one store at a time. I wouldn't have passed up so many unique pieces as you did in Minnesota. That was fun.

Oh my gosh my old stomping grounds. I loved thrifting there in the towns outside of Minneapolis have great thrift stores too.

The Goodwills in the Twin Cities area are lousy compared to what you have. The best one I ever found was in Minnetonka; high-priced homes = good thrifting!

Oh my gosh! That dollhouse right when you came in! I would have bought that to redecorate and redo.

Those colourful earrings are Indian. I have a pair with only green coloured glass, I love them. I think I paid 2 euros for it, the lady didn't realise they were sterling. Thanks for sharing your finds, it's fun to see you find similar things on the other side of the planet 😊

The Purple Trumpet Vase that you looked at the first Goodwill was definitely worth picking up. It has a value of $35 - $45.00. I haven’t seen them even in the thrift stores priced less then $9 - $10 dollars.

Next trip to MN you need to check out Stillwater, MN, if you haven't alreadt.

If those are carved onyx bookends, they are worth more like two or three hundred. People have to consider the time, expense and artistry and workmanship. So if someone gets them for 50, they are lucky.

I live south east of Mpls & the Salvation Army (our Goodwill closed several years ago) in my town always has junk. I guess I need to venture out to some surrounding areas.

Come to Anoka Minnesota they have loads of antique malls, and if your in the golden valley area go to empty the nest.

You hit the goodwill a mile from me (second one in video). It used to be amazing for finds. Now I avoid it. Next time head to Rochester. Awesome shoots there!

Minnesota girl here, Turquoise Vintage is amazing!! Lots of fantastic little spots to thrift at and the prices get better the further you get from the cities!

Just remember Laura, people are ALWAYS telling you that your Goodwills in OR are better. Now you know! Mine is also a dud in CO.

Take the coach bag to the coach store, they should fix for free. At least they always use to. It’s part of what made them so popular back in the day.

Would love to see how you store your products until you sell them and if you use locator numbers to find them.

Back in the 80's I was selling my pickings at Hopkins Antiques and Antiques Minnesota on Lake Street in Minneapolis before Goodwill became so big, in St. Paul and elsewhere. Your video brought back great memories. Then I found dreamcatchers and dreamcatchers found me--I sold across the USA, online, in Europe, taught dreamcatcher-weaving and their wisdom-stories.

That first goodwill you stopped at is one of my favorites, and the one I frequented in college because it was just down the street!
