Hi Chelsea, thanks for your videos. Hope you’re recovering well. I’m in the UK and having a microdiscsectomy in 2 weeks time,L4-L5 after 6 months of pain. Pretty nervous which is pretty normal I guess. Any advice on the trip from the hospital back home… for some reason it’s making me nervous, I have friend picking me up and staying with me but her car has low seats. I managed to get answers to all my other questions from other videos and yours. Any lessons learned would be appreciated

Hello I live in United States (New Jersey). I have herniated disc l4-l5. Thinking about getting surgery. 24/7 back pain since November. I’m in hell. However because I have all back pain and no leg pain I’m not a good candidate for Microdiscectomy. I did research and that surgery is only for leg pain. It’s Way less successful for relieving back pain. The Dr told me the same thing but I already knew from my own research. I tried everything besides surgery idk what to do at this point other then a fusion and I’m only 27 I’m honestly so upset 😭😭😭

Hi there! And so sorry for the delay I’m just seeing this. How is your pain now, and did you get the surgery? I am young too and back pain makes me feel SO old but that just means you can heal faster. Think of it as making the improvements now while you have a better shot of recovering fully! Good luck and hope all is going well
