For the backing the hard hat Klein makes a red light that blinks when you’re working at night!

I live in Southern Arizona, I have the same Hardhat but with Klein's rechargeable cooling fan on the rear mount.

The rear hardest Mount is not for the white light. It’s e for a red blinking light or cooling fan that Klein makes for that hardhat.

Great video Karly! I have the same hard hat ( mine is white ). And same fluke meter. I've been doing electrical contracting for 40 years and your right the fluke is perfect for journeyman electricians. I got 11 months before retirement and I'll start my own little company. Keep up the great work.

I bought those orange screwdrivers and loved them. I gave them to my son in law figuring he would love them too. I think I use them more than him because I drop over and fix stuff for him and use those screwdrivers.

I imagine the headlamp being reversible on the hardhat is if the individual wants to swap the straps to wear it backwards. With that specific brim it doesn't make any sense but with other brims it could.

Or carry a spare headlamp on the back while using the one on the front.

The only knock on that meter is it doesn't have a magnet to stick it onto stuff. I have it and its pretty good.

I keep a spare light on the back just in case the one on the front goes out

I figured the back slot would be to get the light out of the way if you are working in close quarters and it is in the way.

As a computer consultant Fluke is Klein tools for data and telecommunications work. A fluke cable tester/tracer is a god send. Their fiber optic tools are sick as fuck too.

I keep an extra light on my hardhat. Being in the southern USA I wear the long part of the brim to the rear to keep some sun off of my neck, so not having to swap the liner position is nice.

I know very little about electricity, but I do trim trees.I love the ventilation in the hard hat.

Ive had that cable cutter since it came out. Still works great. And still using the original cutting blade. Have made up so many switch gears and panels with those cutters.

I’ve to the same hard hat and love it. Got it because of the venting. Had a few versions of the Klein headlamp. I’m always working in dark environments, so I’m using a headlamp daily. The Kleins only work for a full day at the most. Got a 18650 headlamp from Fenix and 4 spare 18650 to interchange throughout the week. Using 2-3 batteries per week at the most. Faster and easy charge. When I was using Klein I would carry a spare headlamp to swap out. It was a pain. So I ditched the Klein. The rear mount on the hardhat is for Kleins hardhat fan and its battery pack.

Extra storage for a second headlamp maybe just in case? One to wear and one to move around and place somewhere idk lol

The second place could be for separate battery? Some headlamps have a battery at the back, only lamp at the front. Waiting for the T6 review.

I'm pretty sure that spot in the rear of the hardhat is to store it out of the way if you're in tight quarters. I do industrial work and constantly bang and smash my hat and light off of beam/pipework. If I don't need the light, it goes to the back of my hat.

Karly, Wearing the lamp on the back could be useful to warn others that you are ahead. That could be helpful to warn lift operators who zoom around a warehouse at top speed. Blink mode in red and maybe a second smaller might would be nice. (I read some replies. Sorry if the warning light idea has been mentioned already.)

The hard hat would be nice with two headlamps. Nothing is ever revealing itself out of the shadows. Safety for one person. Probably a pain in the eyeballs for two 😂

Im guessing the light pointing up hitting a ceiling or maybe in a crowded spot but where it hits it and lights up the small space when looking down at something

Bad thing about any hard hats believe OSHA states they must be replaced every two years. Had my hard hat for over ten years and company did not have a clue about limited life of hard hats.

Carbon fiber is great, but once it's cured like that don't sand it. I mean you wouldn't really do that with a hardhat but either way carbon fiber dust is sincerely bad for your lungs. Aside, having the light on the back might be good for tow truck operators or other people who work around road traffic.

Why do your tools look like theyve never been used?

Wait a minute, your an electrician? That hard hat is not rated for the correct electrical protection if it has vents…….. not sure how Canada works, I bet more strict than US. We require our electricians to Class E which are rated up to 20k volts. That hat is a Class G. Only rated for 2200v. Are you sure that hard hat meets your safety standards? I would be willing to bet your Safety Officer will have different opinion.

Let's assume for 5 seconds that she turns on the tool, jump cuts (lets someone do the actual work) and then smiles into the camera and says man that was rough..does that hurt you? Is there a gun to anyone saying "watch this" or "buy something". The smoke you see might be coming from that little light bulb in your head that needs changing. Ask Karly to swap it, she is licensed after all 😅
