Today is November 3, 2023. You and Kyle and your kids are watching "Wizard of Oz" today. I'm here just to see you from days gone by. I even watched your Pregnancy Clothing Haul video. You and Kyle have changed my life. I didn't take many things for granted before I watched your journey, but I take even fewer for granted now. Sending you love, and praying for you all. I'm so extremely sad, but you are amazing and triumphant.

I'm watching, Nov. 20, 2023. This video brings intense tears of empathy. I have had two biopsies in my rib and my sacrum. It truly is the most pain imaginable. I was given Fentanyl, I cannot imagine the pain level without it. It felt worse than giving birth, absolutely. My diagnosis, stage 4 breast cancer, found in bones, lung. Jenny's documentary start to finish has provided me and countless others much comfort as I go through this bizarre and crazy life beating cancer. ❤

Unfortunately from my extensive research (I myself have been diagnosed with cancer) Jenny's fate would have been sealed from this moment. Needle biopsies in particular are dangerous as they tend to spread cancer and this explains why Jenny has ended up with stage 4 and malignancies in spine and brain as the needle biopsy went through her back/neck area. I refused conventional treatment in favour of alternative treatment, and almost a year on I'm doing fine, unlike poor people like Jenny who do everything their doctors recommend. City of Hope should be renamed City of False Hope, because what they're doing is a step away from criminal, in my humble opinion.

How strange. My husband had a thyroid biopsy on 2 separate occasions with multiple samples and he didn't feel a thing. Did they give you that powerful numbing ointment to put on before leaving for your appointment? I saw him get the biopsy and I was cringing so hard but it didn't bother him at all. I'm sorry you had that pain.

@@francesmcstay How painful/painless these procedures are truly depends on WHO is doing it. My first thyroid biopsy I felt absolutely no pain. The 2nd biopsy was a tad painful as it was a resident who did it and, to me, felt like he thought it was like a liposuction, after the teacher told him he did not get enough...ugh. Ended up next day with severe black and blue mark on neck...so yes, it depends on the operator performing it.

@@francesmcstay no numbing ointment or injection: just a Valium to "relax" me. The deep neck pain when jabbing it into the mass several times each of the four times the biopsy needle was inserted was horrendous. I asked about a numbing shot before they started and they said that they only give the Valium......everyone in the room was talking a lot I think to distract me from the pain but it didn't help.

I have Interstitial Lung Disease from damage due to systemic Connective Tissue Disease. Secondary Bronchiectasis and Bronchiolar Metaplasia. Seen in smokers. Although I’ve never smoked. Everything Jenny says is true. I’m still sleeping in a recliner. She’s one of the bravest women I’ve ever seen My pulmonologist asked in late January if I was working (I’m retired). I had the needle lung biopsy a couple of weeks ago. They numbed the skin but the pain was excruciating and I have a high tolerance of pain due to living with chronic pain. My lung collapsed so the doctor made another incision to fit a drain tube to let the trapped air out and I sat very miserable on the trolley for the rest of the day until they found me a bed to keep me in overnight. I was let go the following afternoon. The cherry on the cake after all this was an inconclusive result. Four days later I had a colonoscopy for polyps removal, more torture. I agree with the person who criticised these sort of barbaric practices in this day and age of rapid medical advances.

The lung collapse is called a pneumothorax. They are usually caused by a lung puncture (broken rib, knifing, biopsy needle, etc) but mine was a spontaneous one due to a damaged cyst (caused by smoking for 15 years (gave up 25 years ago) bursting out of the blue and puncturing the pleural wall separating lung and rib. Was diagnosed with mild COPD and I had to have a procedure called a pleurodesis and wedgectomy to prevent it happening again. My experience with thoracic surgery and discomfort was nothing compared to what Jenny had to endure. I did not have cancer and I walked out of hospital a week later all good. I had 2 stints in hospital all up and it was not a pleasant experience but it pales into insignificance knowing Jenny had to suffer so much physical discomfort and mental anguish (especially being a non-smoker and wife and mother) and it feels me with so much empathy I could cry.

wow they did yours a lot different then mine, they went an had me on my right side laying when they put me in the cat scan to mark the spot, brought me out they put this plastic square an then he had me hold my breath stuck the hollow needle in under the spatula an went right in that way an then put the other needle in so they could go to the tumor an took 3 samples but they never put it in twice with the hollow needle, that is wild they did that too you, yes it hurt like hell when they put that hollow needle in that aint no joke it hurt an there is no reason they couldnt put in your iv to pain med so it wouldnt be so bad, but yea it did take a week to get my biopsi report back , an ya my lung hurt so bad after the biopsi i ended up in the er cause the lower part of my lung was bruised i thought it callapsed but it was just bruised from the biopsi, but i am praying for you, an i really hope they find a cure for lung cancer stage 4 cause that is what i have also

Did you have sharp shooting pains in your lower lung after the biopsy that sent you to the ER? Had my biopsy (needle) yesterday and am getting electric-like shocks that make me scream out loud randomly. Insane!

How did it go? Were you sedated or under anesthesia for yours? I'm told I have to have one and the surgeon I met with (I'm not sure if I have a tumor or an infection, hence the biopsy) said I'd be sedated with "happy juice" but the Radiology office called to set it up and told me I'd be completely out. Only thing I can think is because I have emphysema apparently, which worsens chances of a collapsed lung.

Sometimes, I don't know why He would take someone like Jenny. This woman suffered. Please watch the videos at the end of her life. She didn't deserve it. Either did her family. Kyle and her children are adjusting well. They shouldn't have to go through this. Rest in peace, I know you are watching your family ❤❤❤❤😢

Hi Jenny First I'm glad to hear you're ok and everything turned out well I just had the same thing done yesterday and I gotta say my experience has been completely different I was given mild sedation and novicaine at the site of he needle insertion so I really felt almost nothing Also it was explained to me beforehand that there are no pain receptors inside your lungs So I'm not sure where that pain came from for you But of course we are all a bit different and the position of you tumor could have had something to do with that Who knows The rest was the same several times in and out of the scanner with this needle sticking out of my chest Which I personally found kind of amusing Whole thing took less than an hour I was taken back to recovery where I stayed for about 1 1/2 hrs During this time I was given a chest Xray to check for the whole collapsed lung thing After that I was pretty much good to go. Got home and pretty much just too it easy for the rest of the day But I really felt ok and have had almost no pain at all I have been coughing up quite a bit bloody phlem (sp?) And I'm sore at the injection site Kind of an achy soreness But they said that would happen I'm guessing I'll be fine and bac to normal by tomorrow Now I'll just have to wait and to what the results are Anyways Again I'm glad to hear you're ok
