My Lord Cutts' Delight / The Cotillion - Anahata, melodeon
Someone on the "tradtunes" mailing list found a KZread video of Robert Harbron and Sam Sweeney playing an (at the time) unidentified tune, which turned out to be "My Lord Cutts Delight", from Henry Atkinson's MS, Hartburn, Northumberland, 1694 (it's on the Village Music Project web site). Also appears in later editions of Playford as "St Catherine".
I took a liking to the tune, and found "The Cotillion" a fine partner for it - I'm sure both tunes are of a similar vintage.

I've learned both these tunes . . . and now I will relearn them!
What a pleasure it is to hear you play anything, but especially venerable tunes like these. I hope you never tire of posting to KZread.
Lovely playing. Thanks for posting. Garry
Just revisiting this - my admiration of that Oakwood grows every time I hear it. Via recordings only unfortunately, but it remains the finest 'box I've heard. As for the playing, nothing to add from what you already know!
Beautiful--both the tune & your superb rendering of it!
Fine playing!
I find the bass so difficult on this tune, you play it brilliantly.
Nice left hand work
