My Longest Ride

Green light to get back on the scooter. It's tough not being about to be 100% but to be able to push around again is something iI'm super grateful for.

Once you’re pain free, start training your back in the gym. A strong back is harder to injure as the spine is better supported. Really important to strengthen the glutes too, as strong glutes help protect the lower back. As we age, injury prevention becomes a big priority. It’s amazing how well the human body can heal and repair itself, when it’s given enough time to rest and recover. You are young, you will more than likely make a full recovery, although you should be prepared to accept the possibility that you might always have a very slight permanent weakness in your back in future. Some back injuries never fully heal. That was my experience. I endured 7 years of pain before I healed from my (serious) back injury, and whilst I know my back will never be 100% I can now do all off the activities I used to do and I can train hard at the gym without pain 👍 Take it slow dude, it’ll come.

Yes that’s the plan. Right right as well as every injury. As long as I can get back to riding without causing more damage, then I’m all in 🫡

whouaaaaouu ! I have to find ways to tweak the soundtrack so that we don't hear it blowing like an ox! p.s: I modified my water bottle holder so that it goes on the handlebars... p.s2: during the last session: right hip sciatica, beginning of left arch tendinitis...sedentary aches...and one more stupidity...in short...winter is long.
