I didn’t know Hyejin unnie joined this show. I really love her in I Live Alone and I was so sad when she left. I can finally watch her again. She’s entertaining and very humble.

Same. I still miss the show with past members before they became couple. I also kinda knew they were gonna broke up 😅

There's a good reason why she became so successful as a model. She's very focused and driven. From LSU's comments, you realize that he was intimidated by her when he first met her because she's also outspoken, overtly friendly and independent, which no doubt helped her succeed as an international model but not something a lot (not all, mind you) of traditional men are used to. Watching the show, you get to see the little girl side of her. She was very cute while looting her mom's fridge. While things do scare her, she pushes through anyway, even if she has to squeal the whole time. If she runs into an obstacle, she might moan a bit, but she still eventually figures out a way. She and Park Narae are very similar there. They do a lot of stuff on their own even if it's difficult. I expect the reason they'll present for her being on MLOB is that guys are intimidated by her. I don't think that's a her problem though. More of a them problem.

As someone who has watched every single episode of every single show with HHJ in it, can I strongly disagree with your comment 😅 If you watch her shows regularly, she laughs a lot, always agrees with the other person, is often cutesy, and always makes the other person feel good! She's very, very obviously more easygoing and laidback than most women (or men)! Even when she's torturing herself by exercising or dieting like crazy for her career, she's always gentle and cheerful to others. I know alllll about traditional men, and she's not a whimpering male pleasing stereotype of course. But I also don't see her as so outspoken as to be different from most women (NOT that there's anything wrong with being bold). She just comes across as a very likeable person, even more agreeable and easygoing than 99% of other women/men. In fact, some of her model friends (also famous on SK variety TV) are well known for being outgoing / super independent / etc, in a way that she's not. She's like that one tactful friend we have that always (figuratively) takes the backseat to make everyone else feel good. If there's any intimidation factor, I think it's probably the height. (Though the above model friends of hers are married!) But she's had a more active and longer model career (including internationally) than many of her model friends, which means less time to settle down and meet someone etc.

Tbh I think you've badly stereotyped her based on her appearance lol... She's not "fierce" at all. I LOVE me some fierce girls who slay, but I also love Hyejin for her gentle, humble and tactful personality.

@@xoxo3836 I think I'm being misunderstood. I wasn't criticizing her. I was speculating on what the show would point out as to be why she was on the show to begin with. Remember what Mom's Diary is about. I think she's fine as she is. She's obviously a very kind and generous person. That came across. However, LSU mentioned specifically he was uncomfortable with her initially because she was so outgoing and forward. There's nothing wrong with her being like that but some guys are intimidated by women who are like that. That's why I said it was more of a them (guy) issue rather than a her issue.

I actually didn't mention her appearance at all. I've only ever seen her as being a kind person as well. I didn't say anywhere that she was otherwise. Only that her focus, drive and independence could be seen as intimidating by some people. Not that there's anything wrong with her being like that. There's nothing wrong with that and more women should be like that and society should admire those qualities. Unfortunately, a lot of old fashioned people don't. I actually hope her appearance on the show helps knock down those predispositions towards women.

@@segoi11 no, I don't think it's a criticism at all! There's nothing wrong with being outgoing and forward, and it doesn't mean not kind. But while Hyejin's really disciplined about her model lifestyle, she's really easygoing and sweet in her interactions basically... Subverting gender stereotypes is a GREAT thing I'm here 100% for, but I simply don't think Hyejin subverts gender stereotypes in the way you claim she does. I think Hwasa (whom I actually love more than Hyejin) is a weird mix of shy, sweet, fierce (in the "slay" way) and independent. Like Hwasa would probably sweetly tell a toxic misogynistic man where to go. Whereas I think Hyejin is the sort to just laugh politely and still be really nice and lovely to him (and I'm not making a value judgment on that - it's neither good nor bad, I wish I had her kind of tact and loveliness).

I love watching her vlog with kian and friends. 😂 She's wild and funny.

I'm glad she's in the show and I can tell her house looks stunning. 😊

KJK x HHJ is a mashup i never thought of but I'm here for it hahaha. She eats super healthily too. But she's very good natured and laughs a lot which kinda suits KJK's bad temper lol

She looks like her mom. I am glad that I can eat whatever I want without gaining much weight.I am 37 years old and I never weigh more than 50kg no matter how much I eat. While most women gains weight after giving birth, I only gained 5kg and I gain it after 14 years after giving birth.I am 49kg now.

Yeah I love HHJ being on MLOB (I know you don't) but tbh I found this clip very boring too. HHJ was hilarious on ILA. I hope they step it up

maybe a good change of pace, Mylittleoldboy is already staple in terms of rating but as always there always an end to it, it started to decline little by little, maybe finding new demography in terms of viewer. I only watched once in a while if heechul is on an episode. Or if its a funny one.
