I'm 53, been following this music since age 14. Somehow, johnny Monaco flew under the radar. What a player.🎸🔥

He's one helluva singer too. Probably the most talented musician overall in SP's band.
Johnny's nailing those Warren parts. Very cool. Great video too.

@@stevedamien638 I think my two favorite guitars I've ever owned, the first one was a charvel phase 3, And a Jackson dinky 2, but I did own an Ibanez RG 470 that was custom airbrushed that was awesome, but I will say this I think the Ibanez has deeper tone, but I will say I'm not an expert on guitars.

@@Larry-rz4ed Same here bro no expert. But we sure recognize a good neck guitar action also a guitar that stay in tune at least 5 minutes.
Wow!. Jason that was one bad a** mini-documentary. As a Ratt fan, I appreciate that you take the time (from your life) to show us the real behind-the-scenes. I believe this is the first-ever behind-the-scenes of Whiskey A Go Go and its brief history that has been shown on YT. It feels real - Thanks for that. Johnny M. has the chops for playing the Ratt tunes - kudos to him. Continue your journey and be safe doing so and keep us informed.
I must go to this place before I die, my life won't be complete until I do. Thanks for this video it meant alot to me. ❤😁
Jason, I very much enjoyed you giving a short history lesson and tour of the Whisky a Go Go in this tour diary. I’ve never been to Hollywood, but I’ve always been fascinated about the venue since so many of my favorite bands have either gotten started or performed regularly at the Whisky. Stephen Pearcy sounds phenomenal live. It was also cool to see Whit Hertford at this show. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen the music video for Lay It Down on MTV Classic. Great content as always.

I used to love "The Whisky"- I do not know why I always got a primo table in the balcony. Loved the place as a teenager. God bless them.
Thanks for uploading man. I had a shitty day and this makes me happier.
Great episode Jason. Thanks for all the hard work brother.
Thanks, Jason! I always look forward to your tour diaries.

Stephen sounds brilliant here! Great to see.
I love the Whisky! It doesn’t get more iconic for rock music than that venue.
This was great THANKS

Definitely a great night!
When I lived in Los Angeles in the 1990s, I played at the Whisky and the Viper Room almost every weekend. It was some great times even in the 1990s.
Watched the video, it's killer! Wish I had gone.
Stephen has been sounding absolutely phenomenal lately 💯🤗
Rates library of music is insane ! Later albums didn’t do as well , but there are hits on every one !
I loved ratts studio albums. I saw them in Fayetteville n.c. while i was in the army. Bon jovi opened for them.
Considering its recorded from the side with what is likely a phone? Whatever it is Johnny has Great tone, would like to see a rig rundown type video with him for what he uses with Stephen. Great job ya'll
Man , Stephen is STILL KICKIN ASS !!
Hi✋😀, Wow, this Feels Like Deja vu ❤️❤️🤘🎤🎸

There is nothing more awesome and peaceful and full of anticipation than load in afternoon….in an empty club. There is a mood and a vibration of excitement. Plus, Jake owes me $200 from a canceled Covid gig 😀
Your MC skills are good as well Jason.

Would have been cool if little Stephen would have been shaking his head and snapping his fingers when Jason panned over during the song😂😂
THE BIG SHOW
In The Dirt they made it sound like the apartment was a slum with barely indoor plumbing but in reality it's a nice place and excellent location. They did a Return to the Motley House documentary several years back and it was nice inside.
He sounds way better than his metal contemporaries!
Jason - are you guys in Reno now?? Big show tomorrow with Skid Row. Can't wait!
When are you coming through phx
Out of rehab tour
"Draw straws"....c'moooooon, yous guys know yous are gonna be sleeping in the same bed. Just Joshin', just Joshin'!! Great content as always Jason. RIP Cabbie. Eh, well....i sleep just as well at night now.
Ratt always had good hooks
🤟🤘🖖
Crue was at 1140 apt 205 which is the correct address. People always get this wrong.
Thats not bad...thats not bad. I lived four buildings up, in 94' we paid $695 month for our two bedroom. And it was a dump back then! 🤘🏻
Just subscribed to this now, happy I did! Cheers, Zack Daniels.

Welcome aboard!
Met Stephen Pearcy at a meet and greet in Reno several years ago, he wasn't the friendliest guy I've ever known. Nice to see Carlos Cavazo still out playing.
Sounds good but would be nice to have Juan Croucier back on bass a master on the bass and backing vocals and a really cool cat
Scot took Blas's place for the night, and Erik was able to bring his Splawn heads, and I guess that was his Splawn custom guitar, I don't recall seeing him with it in a video before this. EDIT: OOPS, this was last year, my comment is irrelevant
Funny thing is I texted Stephen a pic of the marquee so I'm the reason Jake had to take all those letters down!!!
Thank you for posting the tshirts Jason.
God.bless all the ratt n rollers! Jesus saves sinners
A tour of OJs pad! 🚨 my bad lol
Jason, can you answer me a question if you have time please? The Motley Crue residence you point out in this vid, what year/s did they live there? Was it mid 80’s or earlier? Great pod again! 💜💜💜

You too?
What a joke Did he play way cool junior hahaha
You’re becoming more popular than Stephen
I pay $600 on a lake with view…
However when Johnny plays guitar his demeanor changes
So one is $2200 and one is $2600. One has a Bathroom/Toilet?
3:23 $2200 a Month? One Bed? Are you Freaking kidding me? Furnished?? It's no wonder why people are living on the streets.
2k a month for 750 square feet. Ya gotta be kidding me. Yikes.
i saw these guys in toppenish wa...the band kicked ass but vocals not so much....sorry
We've moved on Can't believe people want to relive their high-school days everyday 😅 yikes
It's sad we have to listen to crap bands like GnR, Crue and Poison...Pathetic. Rock on boys!
Ratt sucks, MOTLEY crue sucks harder.
Hmmm. If you’re going to go out and play in your 60s then you should probably sing in key. Steven was never a great singer but man….. this is rough.
