All I can say is that your parents raised you right. I admire how you handled the situation. Much respect bro.

I'm 40 yrs old and have been gaming since the sega master system and just now learned that gamecube trigger has extra button click at bottom lol
Dude you killed it on this video. Sucks that you havent done more like the flydigi vader 3 or the turtle beach steatlh ultra.
I remember "Nintendo Thumb"😫, but back then, THAT was gaming for ya😏.
U gotta get your hands on the Famicom with the pre recalled square buttons
Top 10 most cursed Nintendo moments - Link talked in those Link to the Past FMVs.
58:28 you should show the input lag in the comparisons too
GameCube controllers have built it RUMBLE.
I need that shirt!
Cable length is fine, average room size in JP is about 10 square meters
I've never heard of an N64 controller getting stick drift, I wonder why?
Man I miss playing blaster master lol, I think it’s between that and Metroid probably for games I put most hours in on as kid lol, but blaster master really sucked me in to story n all, was great game for times, I really need to get an nes back
Nice to see Call Me Carlson
I’m an NES Max fan. It was my goto controller growing up. There must be dozens of us.

NES Max was my favorite controller as a kid, always felt so comfortable. Tried playing it as an adult and man that thing is cramped!
I LOVED the NES MAX, I used the hell out of that controller! Especially on Megaman and Ninja Gaiden

Ive got a giant wall mounted nail polish rack for all of my favorite n64 games. Ive got two racks that he has, I used them for my SNES games.
I liked the NES Max when I had tiny hands, as a adult the Advantage is better
❤hello
Anyone who doesn’t like the NES Max doesn’t understand WHY it was made that way. Yeah, it’s smaller and can be a bit less comfortable but if you doubt that sliding disc thing, play Marble Madness with it. You’ll understand after that.
RIP. Byuu/Near :(
3:32:10 X is usually OK and Triangle was CANCEL or BACK
I made those Everdrives if they're from Stone Age Gamer
I was today years old when I found out that the famicon controller for player B has a mic...😅
You do/have a review for Crossover Gaming Adapters
the sad thing about the Saturn Analogue and the Dreamcast controller is that they are the ONLY first party controller with a "no drift" analogue stick due to them being based on Hall Effect Sensors. No wear and tear here - everything else I know works with 150 year old tech -> the good old Potentiometer that WILL fail and die when used.

@ 13:42 the newer controller cords were WAAAAYYYYYY shorter!
I have a handful of SNES controllers v2 (with the engraved Nintendo), they aren't better in quality, in fact they seems to wear faster than the originals.
Had that Dual analog controller!!! Got it the night SF EX plus Alpha came out. We needed a 2nd controller and that's all that the lil indie game place had (GAMETRADER - FL) The dual analog was made 1st cause NINTENDO had a copyright over Vibration effects in controllers. After that was squashed was when they made the new PS that had dual shock. The change the back where it had the Yellow White and Red metal input to the now standard PS cable. They also changed the placement of the lens. They restructured it a but to enable more space to put the chips for the dual shock function The dual analog also had 4 same size R buttons instead of L & R 2 being extended
The Duke felt perfect with Halo 1.. that controller was perfection when it comes to FPS games. My hands are a little big.. so maybe it's just me
These are getting me through my work day! Great stuff!

My way to play is switch snes wireless controller paired with 8bitdo dongle on original snes
dude i can't hold the duke, even now as an adult.
Mr PL4Ndemic loves videogames.
Didn't Sega have a 2nd Genesis joystick that offered six button? Does anyone know if that had the same problems as their three button joystick?
Television Amico best controller ever made
Can you connect 4 arcade sticks to this? And how is this done? Can you make a video to show
Oh yes! Gonna love this
6 button Genesis controller > SNES for SF2.
For most games the 6 button pad was essentially a 4 or 5 button pad, with one or two of the functions required by the 3 button scheme becoming obsolete in the transition. Several games simply used XYZ as weapon hotkeys. But not Earthworm Jim which gave you bupkis.
29:13 I remember that. Why the fuck did they make turbo work on the dpad?
You guys put so much effort and love into these videos. Thank you
I always heard sega had the best dpad compared to snes growing up
oh lord, 4 freakin hours of pure pure magic!
could we please see a wiidual hdmi mod (which is still gcvideo) vs gamecube gcvideo stuff
Now what about propane and propane accessories?
Great video! You guys rock!!
Sansui made a controller for the NES that is almost identical to the Famicom's controller. It also features a slider switch for the A and B button that allow you to set how fast you want auto fire. It also has a headphone jack at the bottom of the controller for some weird mono output that changes ears depending on which direction your pressing. Overall it is my favorite controller for the NES.

pretty cool man i'll have to look into this. while i don't want any controller that has anything to do with autofire, having those other features seems pretty neat. switching a and b omg lol
5:23 - I've got a real urge to pop in Robowarrior, thanks for using that clip

MLIG are getting in on the Remaster craze
I seriously bought the SEGA joystick JUST for the included Rapid Fire adapter. I would then connect a regular joypad to it. Oddly, I mostly used the rapid fire because I loved playing Monopoly and holding the rapid fire sped up the computer's turns. Also, it was MORE comfortable to play with it in your hands like the Atari joystick and actually move the stick from the bottom instead of the top grip.
The reason PS uses X to confirm is because their setup is like Nintendo's otherwise
I just kinda woke up to this playing, but hey, I'm for it tbh. Also, I hope I'm as cool as these 2 dudes when I get to their age
freekin' incredible and SO in-depth!!!

I think at the time, it was more common for people in japan to have their consoles out in the living room on the table or even on the floor. The controller wires were short, however the other console cables were much longer.
Oh man oh man. I have not seen an NES Max since the late 80s. Consider me one of its few fans.
Sometimes I think I play too much video games, then I come to my senses.
Perfect for a flight
Great video, I grew up with gaming with my first game pad was an Atari 2600. We have really come a long way since then, one only complaint about these series is I want to get these consoles again but what sucks about getting older is having the money to buy them but no time to play them lol. Thanks for these series I always love having these videos playing why I'm at work or when I have my kids around.

i would say man as someone who sounds like we have similar history, is don't consider it a loss if you cannot get the things you remember back. this is how most memories work anyway and if you really needed it you would already have it. so much about gaming as an adult is about time and if you are anything like me, you don't have enough time to play what you can afford to
I have a PC Engine Duo with most of the great fighting titles, 2-six button stock controllers, 2-six button fighter controllers, and one stock NEC controller. I have the multi-tap too.
pretty wild n wacky
🔥 💯
You're playing Robo Warrior! One of my favorite NES games and it's a hidden gem as well as underrated. It's a challenging game for sure, but it's fun to play it like a Bomberman clone that has an adventure story to it.

Ah, Robo Warrior. The niche game I had to explain to people because it didn't have Mario in it. Good times.😋
The Megadrive 6 button pad is my favourite digital pad with the only thing missing being shoulder buttons, the Saturn pad almost nailed it but the retro bit version did it perfect.
game sack just throwing whole feature length films on youtube
The Max was trash... I hated that I picked that instead of the Advantage.
I remembet being disappointed here in the us because our snes controllers were colorful like the super famicomz
I am left handed When my dad bought me and my brother the sms stick we instantly hated it,i was soo confused as to why it was backwards It sat in a box and only ever got used fpr afterburner with celotape to do the hold left cheat to skip most of the game
AWESOME ALEX IN MIRACLE WORLD SHIRT.👍
RoboWarrior on the NES had some pretty good tunes, like the use of it for background music.
The Dreamcast joystick was awesome.
Just random started, saw it has 3 Hours, and watched it full lol! Good Work Man!
Nintendo invented the D-Pad, that is not up for debate
I'm not even gonna lie, I fell asleep while I was watching a Matt KC video and woke up to this. Now I'm a fan.
I'm a big binder guy. I house all my games in binders...switch, gba,ds,3ds and gameboy. I even use cd cases for all my generations of xbox. I keep all my cases displayed and just keep my games in binders. Works grt.
GCN > Everything.
"It's not gonna be magically possible to play Rondo of Blood off of an SD card." Well, not yet anyway.
I posit the N64 D-pad is one of the best ever.
Understandable, have a nice day.
Loving these compilations! These are great to have running in the background during the day. Plus, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE hearing the intro music. All The Nostagia Feels!
@foreignuser_

probably the best intro music on youtube. i'll be working doing my think not interacting with anyone, and suddenly this tune will come to my head and i'll just smile and remember my nerd bros are out here making money on videos about nerd stuff. life was kinda hard growing up as one of the nerdy boys, but now some guys who seem just like my friends from back in the day are able to harness what we loved at the time and turn it into a career. that makes me so happy

Nes pad - best 8 bit Snes - Best 16 Bit Xbox - 360 Best overall
Was there ever an NES Duke? With that I mean; was there ever an official(-ly licenced) Nintendo controller for children with big hands?
They used an NES Advantage to control the Statue of Liberty in Ghostbusters II. 😂
