I work in the medical field. I was stressed so I bought a designer bag and carried my authenticity card in case someone said my bag was fake. Turns out nobody cares... nobody! I complimented one of my co-workers on a bag the other day and she surprised me by telling me it was a knockoff . She makes 2x or 3x more money than me. Ha ha *hotdups*

I turned 40 in May and I cried because I was like, I don't have the things that society said I should. I don't own a home and it was a difficult 6 months at work😢. But God is good, I reflected, I have been able to get to where I wanted to be professionally. I took stock of my life. I have what I need and my girls and mom are healthy and living. Welcome to 40...🎉

Starting over is fine and GREAT. And I think a lot of us feel like we aren’t where we should be, it’s okay, absolutely. Always moving forward Mama! I just turned 37…let me tell you, 37 hit different lol. They always ask “do you feel any older today?” Yes, for once, I do. But good things happen if we let them and if we notice them. Keep on going with your restart-mine was great, bumpy, hard, but I didn’t envision it turning out this way. There are still aspects of my life I’d like to kind of rearrange but alllll thingsss in timeee. No rushing, and no expectation that it’ll come easy. Few things worth having come easily.
