Great video, I like how you didn't just get rare finds but common shelfers. Seems like the only rum never missing from the shelf is rum fire, totally understandable because I did the same getting a flask before getting the big bottle. Will you ever do a Q/A video? Are you a bartender? What kind of work you do outside youtube?

The Breezeway blend makes a fantastic daiquiri! No arguments there. However, it does seem to get lost pretty easily in other cocktails. I've tried a few different drinks and really couldn't taste it at all, which is a bummer because it really is a tasty rum.

For the amburana cachaca, my fav cocktail is the "iz bananaz" recipe from punch. And i also recently bought a pint of rum fire, but only so i could make vanilla extract with it. I saw somewhere on instagram a recipe that infuses the vanilla for 9 months. I couldnt find that recipe again, so i just added 4 pods to the pint + the scraped beans, and im gonna let it sit and see if it makes some interesting desserts

Love these vids! Thank you, Arminder. Over the past couple months I picked up, on your recommendation, a bottle of Clarin Sajous. (I was new to sipping sugar cane spirits and this was challenging at first, but I've kept returning to a 'ti punch with it and I really like it now). I also more recently picked up, I think also on your recommendation, St. Benevolence aged, which is very lovable. I've recently begun growing my own mint and I'm curious if you've got a good rec for a mojito rum. (My go-so far is Probitas.) Forgive me Arminder, for I have bought more rum. It has been several weeks since my last confession. I saw a 7 year old Beenleigh by Oldman Spirits. I got it because it was the Quokka Edition. I defy you to look at the label and not buy it. I also eyed a 12 year old cask strength Cuban from Dram Mór. I'm unsure of how much the embargo effects you folks, hailing as I do from the UK, but cask strength Cubans are hard to come by, I believe some local regulations there about bottling strength. Finally, I gave my hard earned coin to the Transcontinental Rum Line for their 7 year old Beenleigh too. The only one I've opened. Very Australian. Eucalyptus and fig pudding. Nice.

Have you considered making a video or videos focusing on rum brands and bottles that prioritize sustainability, environmental friendliness, and social responsibility. Given that rum production, originating from cane juice in tropical areas, can contribute to deforestation and biodiversity loss, it's crucial to highlight brands that mitigate these impacts. Additionally, considering rum's historical ties to slavery, identifying brands that have moved away from this legacy would be valuable information. Topics like these would greatly enrich your channel content and is something that is missing in rums exploration on KZread.
