@@valerciora5952 I personally felt Tim was pushing on. It was very apparent he wasn’t used to the manual box on track. A few times I felt he appeared flustered & a bit uncomfortable during gear changes.

I'm not particularly saying that Tim is the fastest driver, I was just saying that the car is pretty fast considering the pricepoint and all of that. It's obvious that I wasn't comparing it to supercars or sports cars, nor I was comparing Tim with a racing driver with countless hours on the Nurburgring, but for a hot-hatch I think it does perform quite well.

Your driving round the most dangerous track in the world and just casually taking to us about your car and the track 😂. Now that’s skill.

As you know Tim. I am a regular and subscriber to your great cartube channel. But I feel like putting something back into the online car enthusiast community, and not be typically critical! I feel like throwing a big nugget in here to all cartubers, as I’ve not seen any of you run with it so far? Never in the History of the Automobile, in this Cov-19 Pandemic year, or never in my lifetime, I was born in 1965, has the Car become much more important to us all, other than just a means of transportation!! Many of us have been forced to live within the small boundaries of our houses and homes. Our cars are the PERFECT means with which we can all still safely go out and live somewhat during this time! With our Car’s inherent “safety cocoon”!! I am sure it has been more than just commuting, they are directly keeping us all sane, more healthy, contributing to our overall mental health and most importantly making us all feel more optimistic about our Post-Pandemic lives!!!! In my eyes, this has been the YEAR OF THE CAR!!!! I should mention this as well. I am sure many of us here know of the inevitability of a financial recession happening world wide now. And many, many large and small companies going broke. Many larger companies crying they’ve had the worst sales this year in their short histories, ie Car Manufacturers. BUT! I am sure I am not alone in noticing this right now! Who knows of a family member or friend, that has bought a new or even brand new car this year? For me, 2 neighbors have bought brand new cars, my niece bought a brand new SUV this year, and I have seen more trailers with old cars ontop than ever before in my street!!!! I have even added an old classic car to my Dream Garage Collection this year!! I personally think we are all buying MORE cars this year then I can remember…No matter what the media is telling us all about, with our inevitable recession, and no one having any money to spend. In short..It really is the YEAR OF THE CAR!!!! My 2 cents. I’ve put forward this year to our online car enthusiast community. And thank you, if you’ve read my longish comment this far and for the couple of minutes of your time!

Yeah this is one I'm really going to miss. It's a car so many of us can actually related to because for most it's very attainable. If only you lived in the states, I'd buy that think in an instant. Such a well done project. I think I speak for many of us when I say that we definitely need more of these types of projects in the future. An insanely cool project that won't break the bank. Well done my friend.

You can't actually have cameras outside and therefore the problem is the ease of fitting/starting them if it's a few metres behind the driver

It would be worth the effort!! Try it! No exterior mounts obviously if its the rules but it makes a track video so much better in my opinion!

Nextbase head a really nice treat camera that adheres to the rear glass

This was my favourite of all your cars bar the GT8.

I get so much more pumped for non super-car and hyper-car content... Miata, Focus RS, CTR, BRZ basically anything that requires you to row your own gears and that can be afforded by the common man/woman gets my juices pumpin!

You can just tell that this is Tim’s passion! Absolutely beaming all the way round!! Love to see it!

Was always hoping you were gonna get the sequential box in that. Amazing laps.

Shmee keep it and get some more laps under your belt. A lot more of a joy to watch you in this than your supercars. Your face and those moments of "do I have enough straight line speed" makes it much more engaging for us to watch. I bet you felt more excilleration in this, than knowing you can pass most other cars in one of your supercars.

Many KZreadrs or "influencers” can post daily or as much as they want and I can’t be attracted or its just generic content... but Shmee ? He has that charisma which gives you a homely comfortable feeling watching his vids as if you personally own the cars... thanks for the effort Shmee.. really appreciate the hustle you put for us viewers (inclusive of a few other youtubers such as stradman,RBR to name)

wow i cant believe your gonna sell the red edition Tim, this is 1 of my favorite of your cars. i know its only a focus but its what you have done to it with the engine and the exterior mods. i've always loved this car so i have a better idea Tim, just donate it me :). it will give me the incentive to actually get my license (i'm 47 and can actually drive but just not legally ;)oops ). i for 1 will be sad to see this thing go as i am sure you will be to as you really seem to have enjoyed your blast around the ring. thanks for another excellent adventure Tim. keep safe

This is by far the most fun I have seen you have at the 'Ring, you were grinn8ng fro. Eqr to ear in a way I havent seen you even when driving million pound supercars. Reconsider and keep it, these cars are monumental on tracks like that.

You put the time and work in the results will show SHMEE YOU ARE A TRULY SKILLED DRIVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@Shmee150 Well yeah, fair enough, but making videos of it! Followed the whole journey from stock to what it is today. Would’ve been fun and interesting how much of a difference it made. Also, no sequential gearbox. Damn! Sounds so awesome and clunky.

Looks more fun on track than any of the supercars, seems like a much more lively car that makes the driver more involved rather than seeming almost like its on rails. May not be as fast, but it certainly looks more exciting.

I haven’t seen you smile that much around a lap in a while. Awesome! Loved the video, those pops sound awfully good with your setup.

As an ST owner, seeing you drive the big brother on the ring, shifting like a madman and redlining, it really makes you look like a proper racecar driver :D At least you'll always have the Heritage edition to keep that FWD/MGB feeling.
