My kitchen is growling at me - BIG MALE LION interrupt guys coffee routine
Let's hear from Dylan Panos himself:
WHAT IS BHEJANE NATURE TRAINING? We are a Nature Guide Training company, and we train students to become professionally qualified Nature Guides, Trails Guides, and Marine Guides in Southern Africa. We offer the well-known FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa) set of qualifications.
Interview with Dylan Panos:
What were your initial thoughts when you woke up to find the lions? Did the noise wake you or did you walk into the kitchen and notice them?
We woke up early in the morning with a group of 8 lions moving through camp. They were very vocal, so we were all well aware of their presence just outside our tents. The students were all safely escorted to the Game Viewing vehicle to drive around camp and to see the lions. The lions moved through the camp ( we also have footage of this if needed), and once they moved to behind the Kitchen building we could no longer see them. Dylan at this point moved around to the kitchen to see where they went while the students were still safe with instructor Emilio van Dyk in the vehicle. As he approached the building he saw the male through the mesh covering and realized that the female was lying just below the wall close to the building as well.
Were you frightened? Please elaborate on why or why not.
I was not frightened - I am after all trained to live and work around these animals, but I was very cautious - one would never approach mating lions since they are prone to showing aggression - however, we did want to encourage them to move off for the safety of the camp and to gain access to the kitchen obviously.
Some comments on Facebook indicate the windows are only covered in wire mesh no glass is that correct? Is there a special reason for this?
Yes, it is an open building as you will see in some of the other clips - there are no doors and the windows have only mesh covering. This is just because it is a rustic bush camp and we try to make do with minimum infrastructure there. We are all aware that the camp is open and everyone knows to be on guard and have good situational awareness at all times - this is after all what the students are training for, to be able to take their guests eventually into unspoiled wild areas - so to know how to do this safely, they must be able to live in such open camps, and know how to behave if an animal encounter does occur.
Did you get your coffee lol?! Yes - definitely got a nice cup of coffee!!

About Everseen Africa Lion Seekers
Pure passion and dedication brought us to this point and we decided it's time to share the most iconic sightings in Africa with our followers. We are an ethical Safari company that always strives to give back to the environment and help people to be closer to animals. The purpose of the channel is to show what it is like to experience seeing wild animals on an African safari. Wildlife Documentaries are often highly edited to tell a story, wildlife safaris are not, and the idea here is to show the wildlife sightings the way they were seen. Safari tours in Africa are generally suitable for all ages and this channel can be considered an educational channel about incredible nature, some scenes in the nature videos may be more graphic than people are used to but this is the reality of nature and is what you would see if you were present on such a safari in person. Safaris in South Africa, Keyna, Botswana, or any other African country are a once-in-a-lifetime experience for anyone with a passion for nature, wildlife photography, and travel. Hopefully, the animal videos on this channel can provide a glimpse into what the nature experience is like and encourage more people to take a wildlife safari one day. Make sure to subscribe and enable ALL notifications!

And it's not because the female lioness is the littlest it's because male tigers are not bigger than male lions they're longer if you count the tail I didn't care at first that people were saying this but you guys are actually having people believe this lie which is sad lions always take Tiger's food it's not a mess it's a fact you can KZread it you can Google it a scientist that tell you that work with both lions eat first. Point Blank if you have them in the same cage they eat first unless you are insane and you put a little toddler lion in the same cages an adult tiger which I don't know why you would do that unless you don't want the Cub to live which you shouldn't be handling animals it's not that serious it's not that deep but I just wanted to discredit this lie that lions are smaller than Tigers they are not.

I was brave enough to see the lion in his face.. waiting for the moment the lion jumps out of my mobile screen . 😅😅
The best part of waking up....
His roar would make you stay awake for the next 3 days.
That is terrifying to have a beast like that lion so close to your window! He can easily jump through the window and get to you! And the beast never took his eyes off of you! Scary!

He’s not mad he just wants you to pet him 😂😂😂
The lion doesn't realize that he's strong enough to break through that chicken mesh on the window.

There’s a full video. There’s actually a wide open doorway to the left of the window (hard to believe, I know). It’s true
This is truly a one of a kind wake-up call! I do think messing up your coffee routine is not acceptable and you should hire an attorney to intervene on your behalf. Maybe the lion would eat the attorney and the world would be a better place for it. Just my thoughts. 🤠 In all seriousness, thank you for sharing this!
He's wants his morning coffee too. Beautiful King & his lady!
Wow it looks like he was actually watching over his Lioness!! He keeps looking down or glancing down at her actually never breaking eye contact with him! He was letting you know his girl was laying down there
There is food in that kitchen. Talking, breathing breakfast.

Love 💕 the Lion. The sounds breathtaking and deadly.
Definitely coffee xxx 🎉Heather 🤗 😘 🇬🇧
How can you live peaceful in that house every second. Imagine standing out for fresh air or taking a nap outside your house and the lion is behind you 😮
Give that kitty some coffee!! He’s in a mood….
That gutteral growl just goes right through ya. Better man than I am. I would consider smaller windows tho.
If the lion had followed me from the door to the window…I would skip coffee that day
I think I wouldn’t need coffee for a week after seeing that.
I’m amazed how that beautiful beast still can see and hear you from that far away from small window and growling furiously ,probably‘cuz of great sense of vision and hearing

I've noticed that Lions roar and make different face expressions towards humans. It's like there is a little bit of fear/unknown to them when it comes to us.

بالتأكيد، فوجود البشر حول الأسود غير مألوف، الأسد يعرف الغزال والبقر جيدا، لكن الأمر مختلف بالنسبة للإنسان وغامض.
You get that feeling your being watched and stake too. I give you credit and God Bless too 👍👍👍👍
That first sound from that lion gives me chills
I don't think that chicken wire is gonna do you much good, if I were you I'd invest in a thicker steel grate to cover your windows & doors with, because big guy doesn't understand a humans need for that morning cup-o-sunshine. 😁 Great post, thanks for sharing that!

The only situation that's considered as normal in Africa. A lion sitting outside your house staring right at you from the windows 😂

In AFRICA a LION outside your house is not a big deal. -the big deal is when you meet a BLACK MAMBA in your bed sheets.
Well... 😂🤣😂 ..... You keep standing there STARING AT HIM!!!! YOU ARE CHALLENGING HIM!! So... Hes like ..... COME ON!!!!
