Drama: My Journey To You (Chinese) 2023 Song: “Cloud’s Feather” OST by Zhang Jie I actually really enjoyed watching this dark and suspenseful slow-burn romance. This video is about the main leads and finding their warmth and peace with each other. The cinematography, acting, OST, and cast were amazing. My only complaint is the last 5 minutes of the drama. It looks like they were setting up for a Season 2, but I personally felt it wasn’t necessary to end this drama that way. There are so many unanswered questions! It was refreshing to see Esther Yu in a different role if you compare her to some of her previous works, such as Xiao Lanhua from Love Between A Fairy and Devil. I was impressed with her voice, composure and action scenes. She has improved so much. Some thought the main male lead weak, but I thought he had great character growth. He went from a carefree person with no responsibilities to becoming a true leader for his family. He had such a pure heart, especially his love for Yun Weishan.

How BEST the drama is! No others can compete.

Esther really surprised me with her acting skills in this drama! I never imagined her playing such serious type roles! Also her action scenes were amazing! She really improved alot ❤

this couple was everything i could’ve asked for, strong female and male lead. their relationship is perfect, both of them were always there for each other despite their differences, and it was a healthy relationship. Unlike other dramas where couples quarrel over little dumb stuff, their relationship was very mature and well developed throughout this drama. I’m so sad at the ending 😭💔

Their love and loyalty for each other is so very sweet and admirable. Gentle, yet passionate and unbreakable.

The drama was really dark, but you get used to it, and I really enjoyed it. Gong Zi Yu's character was seen by many as a weakling, but in my eyes he was perfect, he went from someone who avoided responsibility to being an absolute ruler. I was rooting for Yun Wei Shan, excellent acting by Esther Yu. Honestly everyone was great in this drama. When the script is good, there is no fault finding. Thanks for the edit, as always you are the best!!! ❤

5hat shows he is a good actor because he is totally different in the other drama _ Kunning Palace. He is fierce and a leader

Their story really broke me. Though Yun Weishan had to lie due to her situation he was what she ever needed in her painful life. So is Gong Ziyu, everyone looked down on him but she backed him up with her life and his love for her was so pure and sincere. They deserved a happy ending. And this edit is beautifully done. It's so good!!!

this drama was absolutely stunning. i was so impressed by the cinematography. i just wish they got their happy ending and wedding...

Esther provings her acting ability in each drama

This is one of the best costume drama series I've seen, as fairly recent fan of such series, I've been drawn more and more into this world and noticed how incredibly talented these actors are! For the last 4 months I pay VIP on 4 apps and everyone thinks I'm crazy 😂 I need nr 2!

I personally enjoyed this drama , the suspense the plot and character played by each one . I love how they support yun weishan even being a spy ... Oh my god the trust and loyalty they had for each other . Director did them dirty

I finally got to see a serious version of Eshter Yu

This drama is really refreshing and intrigued me from the start! But it really went down in the last few episodes, I was getting so confused. 🥲This is a really good edit for the main leads, showing how much they've grown! And the song selection omg, I really love this song !! ❤There's actually a part in the song I really like, which says “我们的故事有温柔，有叹息，却没有结局” ("Our story has gentleness, sigh, but doesn't have an ending.") 😭

I agree with you about the ending. There was so much crammed in the last few episodes. At the pace that it started, this should've been like a 30 episodes drama instead of 24. I feel in love with this song the first time I heard it, so I knew I was going to use for an edit. 😊

Loved the video!! It reminded me when I became a fangirl of ZLH..here his role is so pure...and I really loved his development here. From a carefree little brother to the head of the family...it's really a tough role to play. But I loved his gentleness and cuteness here. After watching SKOP I am amazed with his acting skills. He will definitely shine later on. And I never saw Esther in such a heavy character. Her appearance and voice all support her as a bubbly cute girl. But she was excellent here. I still wish that the ending could be changed. Got Dumbstruck after such a open ending!!!

I haven’t watched a dark and suspenseful Cdrama in a LONG time and I find it refreshing and different compared to recent dramas. I really enjoyed this drama until the last 5 mins of the last episode.

I dropped this drama because it was dark. So, you summarized their story that made me feel like I completed it. 😅 Great edit of them. 💙

I highly recommend watching this drama! I was reluctant to watch at first, but I was glad I gave it a chance! This type of drama is not for everyone - it's dark and heavy to the heart. The ending is a cliffhanger that left me heartbroken. Please season 2 for a happy ending.

This was a fantastic drama .. every actor was brilliant and the fight scenes were super cool .. but.. the chemistry between ML and FL although was pretty good there didn’t seem to be much romance going on with them .. the SML and SFL had a little more romantic scenes even tho SML was a little intimidating..as was his little brother at times .. hoping for a s2 ..

Can somebody pls pls give me an epilogue for their story I am pretty sure that wu feng won't kill her but rather use her again but then what hell will happen to her, to them? Did she return back to gongmeng?what happened when the door opened at end as we hear a noise of door opening?all these unanswered questions.....Ahhh I think I will lose my mind🥲........they better give us an second season

Yeah, she never left that house, with the people in the room. The fact she was late cemented the fact she didnt make it out. I dont think he can leave the valley because of his tattoo, doubt they could convince him to not try to get her back. Still keeping my fingers crossed for a 2nd season

Yun Wei Shan & Gong Zi Yu, They can’t meet again. Because their story was so sad, like the lyric of the OST.

Beautifully done! Would you consider doing one for Shangjue and Yuan Zhi? Out of all the relationships in the drama, their brotherhood was what had me swooning every time I saw them onscreen (I'm probably the rare few who didn't care for the romantic relationship between Shangjue and Shanguan Qian).

It’s funny I was thinking about their relationship. It brought some warmth when I saw them laughing and smiling. I may make a shorter edit of them if I have time. There are so many stories within this drama.

A protagonista e a segunda protagonista arrasaram demais na atuação. Fora que esse Cdrama tem diálogos muito bons, inteigas que fazem sentido e as lutas sao todas belissimas. Vale a pena assistir.

please I need a Shangjue and Qian video. they were more interesting to watch. I love Ziyu and Weishan but it was too easy he's love was almost instant. But Qian gave her blood sweat and tears (literally) to get to Shangjue.

You could've just let it be a happy ending without the squeaky door and her leaving. Lol but job well done otherwise as always.

I thought about making it a happy ending, but didn’t want people coming back and asking why I didn’t show them the “true ending” of the drama. They were going to be as upset as some of us who watched it while it was airing. I’d rather be upfront about the ending of this drama, no matter how terribly bad they end it.

I did too. It was funny how just about everyone on MDL was like "imma pretend those last 4 minutes didn't happen." Lol

90 percent of their chemistry was his bedroom eyes for her

I didn't feel her love for him as much as I felt his love for her, kind of like the FL in Till The End Of The Moon, but she did much better and came around faster and has always been soft hearted. Their heart to heart conversations were lovely but for some reason they bored me. The conversations with her handler felt much more meaningful and real. I enjoyed the cinematography, costumes for the men, the choreography and the OST but the dialogue was too simple for me. But given what other things they concentrated on, and what image they were trying to project, it makes sense that the dialogue takes a back seat. I was annoyed at times at her 'foolishness', even at the end she didn't bother to take security with her, then she acted shocked when she got ambushed. But the story has to be made interesting so this is what they went for. Do I regret watching this? A little but glad I did because I would have missed out on the stronger points of the show. The funny part was I was falling asleep while being interested in the show at the same time. It was a very weird experience. It turns out I don't like puzzle pieces that are that for the sake of it, I don't find this technique enjoyable. I prefer difficult and complex ethical dilemmas. I enjoyed Who Rules The World more than I enjoyed this, and Word of Honor is still my favourite Wuxia. Thank you for the edit.

I was waiting for your review of this drama once you’re done with it. There were some scenes that could’ve been better, especially the ending. We know this drama ended in such a way so that as viewers we can look forward to Season 2. But we have yet to hear about a second part and that’s the most upsetting part as viewers.

@@MK916FMVs it's a bad business model to set up a product like that, a show that seems like it will have a second season but the announcement isn't made soon enough. The other show, Lost You Forever, did a good job announcing season two very quickly.
