My Journey to SPEAKING RUSSIAN - A Tribute 🇬🇪
My Journey to Speaking Russian - 🇬🇪
Join me as I set out to visit a rather unknown monument in Tbilisi Georgia, commemorating the legendary Soviet movie MIMINO.
Situated in the suburbs of Tbilisi, I set out to find the monument and venture away into a local adventure.
When I decided to learn Russian I did it by immersing myself in the language with music, cartoons, and movies, and Mimino was one of my favorites.
The legendary cast of Vakhtang Kikabidze, Frunzik Mkrtchyan and Evgeniy Leonov is a masterpiece and fortunately, there is a subtitled version you can watch here on youtube. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I live near Glendale, CA USA, the city with the most Armenians outside of Armenia. The local Armenian owned pizza shops serve Khachapuri (Georgian Pizza) and it is delicious! I can only imagine how great that must taste in Georgia with all the raw natural ingredients.

There is an amazing Georgian food spot in Glendale, when I was staying in Koreatown in LA went to glendale to try Georgian dumplings khinkali. It was a bomb! so good I would suggest. Shame I dont remember the name but im sure you can find spot with good reviews.

Mari makes good coffee. I haven't seen her there outside Galleria for some time now, I hope the business is still going well. Don't get why she would move to any other spot as that's actually the best place for foot traffic in the entire city.
