It’s the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Not the celebration of the Eucharist. Why would you encourage this highly secular priest? This isn’t inspiring, it’s distracting from the actual vocation and spiritual life of a priest. Sure he says some good things, but the real appeal this video has is the fun secular feelings it puts off. You shouldn’t be encouraging this. He speaks so much of himself and so little of God. @@frankfrank6467 his point is to show u some aspect of the priesthood life that is not all boring and strictly on spiritual occasion and business.... There are also times to be a fun person... Not neglecting the principal function which is for the conversion of souls and winning souls... Some vocations are lost because of a poor mentality that the priesthood is too lonely and boring.... But this is not the case... He also shows that our weakness is what even makes us more perfect for the call... When u see you growing from ur weaknesses and being loved by God and people. He only encourages.... And yes they can celebrate the holy Eucharist.... Which is the true function of the holy mass... Don't allow linguistics problem affect meanings... Thank you Frank... As a new christian coming away from atheism I can't stop thinking about Jesus. the number one thing I'm excited for is to start RCIA. My family are protestants so they don't feel comfortable with my calling to catholicism and some of my freinds have openly spat on catholicism infront of my face, so I don't want to bother them with driving me to RCIA classes. But ever since I left the faith I have felt like thier was something missing. So when I get my driver's license the frist thing I'm gonna do is go to mass, so I can be apart of something more and meet brothers and sisters in Christ, and hopefully someone special I can share my loves and interests with whist under the love of God. The number one thing I want to do is to behold the Eucharist. I only got two more mounths until I get my lisense so I can drive myself to RCIA. I thank you Fr. David, Bishop Barron, Fr. Mike Schmitz, the guiding hand of Mary, and most of all Jesus who has touched the hole in my heart and filling it with love and hope.

My son has been a priest for two years, currently age 27, ordained at 25 AND rides one of the one-wheel hover boards shown at the beginning. He was ordained just as churches were opening back here (MN) with attendance restrictions. He was sobbing through the ordination Mass and I didn't think he would make through his first Mass without sobbing. He is also so happy to be a priest.

Father and who ever is reading this, I ask that you guys pray for me. I’ve been discerning since I was 14, I’m 17 now. I’ve been blessed to be involved in the church as an altar server of going into 3 years shortly, soon part of the adoradores nocturnos, and told myself was to me made a Knight as soon as I’m 18 from the big man lol. I’m happy for what God has been blessing me with, it’s like once you get more involved in the Church of Christ, Jesus blesses you with things to do for him. We haven't had an ordination to the Priesthood in our Archdiocese for about a decade now. We did ordain a transitional deacon about 8 years ago and unfortunately he's still discerning his vocation😕

Mother Mary wrap your mantel around Fr. David Michael and hold him close to Your Heart and that of your Son Jesus! Keep him safe from all evil and harm. Thank you for this beautiful and gifted Priest God!

My eldest daughter saw the first 2 minutes, shocked asking “isn’t he suppose to take a vow of poverty?” I answered her that religious orders take different vows. We thank God for your “YES” to our Lord’s calling. For your generosity and modeling for our children what life can be like when we choose to follow our Lord today. That it doesn’t mean we give up everything we have but to allow God to use our talents given for His honor and glory. Praise be to God! Let’s continual to pray for an increase & openness to religious vocations.

I'm so grateful for all of our priests. Thank you, Fr. David Michael, for your loyalty to God's call. So many no longer believe in Jesus, for so many reasons, but may they also be covered in protection by the Holy Spirit, deafening those whispers that tempt us away from our Father's Light. * I was not raised in any faith, but when I decided to pick up the bibles that were gifted to me, I found so much Catholic scripture in those protestant bibles. I found Home, especially in 1 Cor 11. I may be a convert on paper, but I've always been Catholic & just didn't know it. I'm truly grateful & blessed that I decided to learn about the gift of the Church that Jesus left for us all.

Thank you for posting this video. I am a Baptist pastor and I can relate to you so well. Pretty much everything you expressed about your vocation is how I feel about mine. What we have in common is that we both were taught to surrender our own will and let Christ live and work through us. Pray for the Lord to send more workers into His harvest. Matthew 9:37, 38.

I cannot stop watching this video! 4 years ago, I commented on a video of yours where you talked about your vocation and I loved it! The video’s title isn’t coming to my mind right now but I was recently accepted to a college and I plan on majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Religious Studies and then entering the Seminary! I am so excited for what the Lord has planned for me, Father! I do thank you for modeling the Priesthood and my faith for me! God bless you, Father! Thank you for inspiring me and many other young men!

The Novus Ordo mass is currently the most widely used but experiencing the Traditional Latin Mass has been a blessing. I am glad I discovered the beautiful tradition. Why has this been suppressed? The Rosary is a great traditional prayer. The luminous mystery was added many years later but the original three are still prayed. Catholics must hold on to the traditions that have been handed down
