Yep. You can do the 1, 3, 2, 1, and if it hits then the final 4, 2 is guaranteed

If first 3 connects then do the rest; If faking then first two then back afterward; If not conencts, 3 is maximum before getting big punish (-11f when third on block)

Raef plays Jin with a controller and has made it to top 6 so many times now, this Evo too. It won't make a difference. The barrier to entry is the same.

i just started playing tekken when 8 came out and main jin, why is it that everyone respects the in your face wave dash? is there no way to punish? or are they scared of a ewgf? if anyone could clarify it would be appreciated

First of all ewgf after wavedash requires crazy lvl of skill to pull off and secondly there are crazy combos mix ups to

in lower ranks, people generally don’t respect wavedashing. There are many uses of wavedashing, sometimes used as baits and people in high levels can control the match with wavedashing using plus flames and oki. Players can wake up using 3,4,3+4but that can be punished. Tech rolls can work as an escape, and staying on the ground enables the opponent to do oki, like Jin’s d2 or ETU as well as Kazuya’s ff4.

@@faizanfakhar5195to add to this, high level players tend to duck after waking up in order to react to mishima’s 3 core attacks which are EWGF and Hellsweep. Ff3 is somewhat reactable to block as well.
