I really appreciate what you said about the evil eye because it’s something that I grew up with in my house and family. Like my grandmother would alway remind me that it protects us. It rubs me the wrong way when people just use it for aesthetics.

Same I wear my bracelets my mother would give me to help protect against bad spirits or people who wish to harm you (at least for my family that is what it’s for) and I don’t like seeing people use it as jewelry when it’s not part of their culture.

I love what u said about the Evil eye because it’s also part of my culture (I’m Turkish) and it’s important for me and my family. People use it for aesthetics which is not bad in my opinion but it’s something that had to be talked about🫶🏻

It’s a form of respect. Just wearing cause you can or feel like it. It’s inconsiderate. So to wear it because you can is just selfish . There’s a lot of other pretty jewelry
