Congrats on quitting smoking. Wouldn’t it be better to say, “I sewed 5 dresses for fashion week?” I’ve sewn for most of my life and never pressure myself to sew, I would give up if I had to sew like a sweat shop. Other sewers have mentioned the same thing about videos that pressure people to perform, making it look like it’s a sweat shop to have their items or item made in a time crunch. The reality is, most people, are not pressured to sew. That’s my ascendant Taurus talking lol Beautiful dresses though, the petticoat into a dress looks great, well done.

I’m curious if you’ve always had a passion for sewing, or just the fashion aspect, and the sewing came because it became trendy during Covid? (Sorry if my question is offensive, you look young and adorable, so I thought maybe you hopped on a trend bandwagon and happened to find your passion that way.) My mom has always sewn, but I didn’t really have an interest until my sister started sewing clothes, and now purses. I like the idea of making a dupe of something I can’t afford to buy, and hemming my clothes and stuff without having to ask my mom to do the alterations.❤ I just never thought it would be something I’d find fun, or have the patience for, but I do.❤ (usually I’m most patient with art, so it makes sense that sewing is another crafty hobby that I’d actually have motivation for after all.)
