Aircraft Maintenance engineer here. Reason why it wouldn’t shut off…engines are designed to continue to draw fuel via suction in the event of a fuel pump failure. Only true way to shut the engine off is to have a shut off valve, to starve the engine of fuel. On most aircraft, it’s known as the spar valve, and completely stops flow of fuel to the fuel pump. Next time you guys do this, get a proper shut off valve in the line.

I know it's probably supposed to be a secret but he was just simply out of signal range, or never even checked the signal in the first place. While he was on it he was using the box connected directly to the circuit. The whistle of the engine remained a constant tone every revolution, this means the speed of the engine was constant as the speed of the spin increased. Before they got off they set it at max throttle, then ran away hoping the remote would work. It's better for the youtuber to admit they made a mistake than for the general public to think jet self fueling is normal.

Okay the whole theme park gag sprinkled through the video was completely unnecessary, but hilarious and shoves this video so over the top. Great job.

I spent the last like month getting a bunch of Certifications for my job, mainly OSHA 10, forklift, and a lot of other heavy equipment certs, the sheer amount of Osha violations in the first 2 minutes alone is incredible and makes me feel like I'm watching the beginnings of a live leak video lmao. The helicopter was my first whistling diesel video and it set the bar very high. As far as danger goes,no feel like this tops it. The first time they were playing with the jet engine I was nervous but I never expected this. I’m almost in shock lol was this real or just some kind of hell

He also collects airplane memorabilia. Not sure if he has jet engines, but I wouldn't doubt if he does. They have a damn salvaged b52 too. We here at Jet City have access to many turbojet engines in either the 6,000 lb thrust class, or the 11,000 lb class. Your engine here, a Motorlet M-701, makes 2,000 at best. We have Rolls Royce, GE, Orenda, and Allison. From our supply of junk and donor engines that we never throw away... That engine cartwheeling looked so incredibly dangerous!

Here in UK, they changed all the merry go rounds to stop kids putting mopeds on them (a kid died) But the moped proof ones are not turbine proof.
