The iron ruler would be such a game changer for me!! Didn’t knew it existed. I have an iron that steams, it has holes in the bottom, because that leaves marks sometimes or gives holes in adhesive fabrics I both a very simple iron with a flat surface, it gets really hot so i love it for pressing with a cloth and lots of steam. Probably the steam is not really necessary but I love to do it and love the sound it makes!! I also have an arm iron press thinghy for on top of my big iron board. A klapper would come in handy also. My husband is a carpenter/woodworker so I can ask him to make me one. Thank you for showing your gear!!!

Good Evening! Oh I worked at a Dry Cleaners/Alterations company in Warren Ohio and Liberty Ohio.. I worked on a Unipress Machine as well as did repair buttons sew etc. I loved working at those companies! My aunt and uncle opened the first dry cleaners in my home town Pittsburgh in 1915... Best wishes! Happy New Year! Bonnie Ohio P S. Tools are important to do a good job. With garments! 😊

Great tips! Many of these I didn't know. I prefer open, rounded pleats too because they give the garment more volume. I think they look beautiful in a pleated skirt.

Ive got a pointed arm extension at a thrift store and didnt know exactly how it was suppose to be used. I thought it like the clapper which it has a similar use. I do have a clapper and its awesome, the hot iron ruler, and the seam roll. I need a ham vut that mushroom looks much better.
