Thank you so much!!! Of all the self help videos I listened to for this problem you were the only one who mentioned the speaker possibly being blocked. After a month of being perplexed and searching for answers …because of you… I realized I had put my protective screen on upside down thus blocking the speaker ?!?! Whenever I listen to podcasts/music with my phone off, then turn it on, it gets really quite for a while and I have to wait for it to get loud, like it plays out of the earpiece instead of speakers

Thanks to you guys. I just solved my issue within a minute with the help of toothbrush. I cleaned the speaker grills and it’s same as new again. My iPhone 13 pro max has an intermittent volume issue. Sometimes when I am running my phone into my car stereo by Bluetooth the sound is significantly quieter. Volume buttons on the phone don’t seem to work. Any idea what is causing this? The only fix I’ve found seems to be to turn off the car and let the phone reconnect.

FTR the only time I listen to what Apple calls, headphones, is using Bluetooth speakers in my motorcycle helmet. When I ride, I wear Hearing Filters (earbud earplugs), which block dangerous high and low frequencies. I come home after a three-hour ride, with music playing at full volume. and my ears are not ringing. Yet, I hear the music clearly over the motorcycle and wind noise. Thanks for the tips on leaving volume LOUD.

Whatever the case it is but the fact is my iphone 13 mini volume gone down by 20 to 30% before updating or let’s say from day 1 it was so good and after updates it’s been reduced, i have all this options turned off yet volume has been reduced via updates for sure , please look into this.

Exact same man problem as mine, done it for the past 2 iPhones I’ve had, first week the volume is perfect do an update and then it’s like half the volume it was even when I have it all the way up, I’ve done all the settings but it’s still so quiet

My phone is doing the “alarm/phone ring/timer/medical app BEGINS to sound, then stops before even the first segment of the alarm sound completes. So either completely silent, or so quiet I can’t hear it. Ideas? I’ve called Apple about it 4 times, both after each of the last two updates. They have no ideas (beyond what you’ve suggested).

When I’m scrolling through instagram I lower it a bit on a video I’m watching and it completely mutes the sound. I have to scroll up and then back down to the original video for it to then use the volume input I set it to. Any way to fix this?

I just found this on Apple discussion board. Go to Face ID and Passcode setting, Turn off Attention Awareness Feature. I am going to test this out. Hope it works

My volume turns it self down whenever I use my raycons and when I’m done using them it’s doesn’t turn it back to the previous volume.

doesn’t fix problem .. this is Apple sabotaging our iPhones intentionally

“Sound Check” is a setting that kills volume when connected to Bluetooth speaker or car stereo. The volume output is always variable and only lets volume get about half way up

In addition, Go to accessibility, Face ID & attention and turn of attention awareness features. This just helped my girl with hers.

When my iPhone 12 first rings, the ringer’s loudness is normal. When I reach for the phone it senses my hand and reduces the ringer volume. The people at the AT&T store say that feature is in the settings. Do you know which setting that is? TYVM.

hard to block all spam texts, but there’s a way to filter out unknown senders by simply going to settings > messages > filter unknown senders. your messages app will create a separate list for unknown texts, just be aware that not all texts are spam like some automated texts would go there.

Pov: you're fighting with the volume button

Hey guys. I have some good news about my i12 with Siri going 100mph, the phone calling sos, and so on. I was able to bring up a small menu on the sign in page and voiceover was on. I couldn’t uncheck it though. I single tapped it, and as I was thinking what to do next, I just absentmindedly tapped it a couple of times ( I wasn’t even looking at the phone ) I was just trying to figure out something, anything, but when I double tapped it, the phone was fixed. I couldn’t believe it. I cautiously opened settings and made sure that voiceover was off. I still have one question. How did it get turned on? Apple should have installed an override button or something. I thank you guys for a couple of possible fixes and telling me it was probably in voiceover mode. That’s the very first time I heard the word voiceover.

What about the Android Phone 📱 My Volume was Charged Accross the board When I got Up this Morning!!! Talk about Timing for this video 💯👍

Several years ago, Apple separated the general device volume into at least 3 categories: Music, Ringers and Alerts, and Siri. I don’t know if there’s another way to do it, but the solution I found is to as Siri a question (ideally requiring a longer answer), and adjust the volume to your liking using the volume buttons.

I had this problem, looked all through the Settings app, couldn’t find a solution so I finally just told Siri to turn up her volume and she did. It turns out you can do this and adjust Siri’s volume as much as you like; I have her set to 90%.

Hmmm, what I did encounter is that the phone will ring at one level at first and then drops if it continues to ring.

Why can't I not get notifications from you guys and I think your hacked or I'm hacked I've been trying to get them off my phone but can't even when I reset it

I have a problem with my iphone 12 sound and never found any fix so here I am asking for help : I noticed it with the keyboard and lock sounds first, but after some tests I figured out it does the bug with every sound that is played on the phone (even on youtube, etc). For example when I start typing, the sound is very quiet and gets gradually louder and louder, then I stop typing, start typing again and the sound is back to a quieter level and keeps getting gradually louder (it stops getting louder at a certain point, probably at the volume it's normally supposed to be, as I find it very quiet at the beggining of the process). Same for the lock sound if I lock/unlock the phone quickly, the lock sound gets louder and louder. Any idea ? is that a iOS glitch or a hardware problem ?

It only happens fir me while I have headphones and I am walking outside dies not happen at home

Also. There’s a known bug with Sony WF-1000XM4 where each time you receive a call with the earphones connected it will lower the volume a little bit. I know how it sounds but it’s true

Bloody Music! Squeezing my AirPods used to switch between my favourite stations on an app, now it starts playing Music out of nowhere so I have to stop everything I’m doing to get into the phone to turn the stupid thing off. Ugh indeed!

A lot of people don’t understand how 2fa works and they end up getting their phones locked and putting it in account recovery that’s where they get angry because then they have to wait days to recover their account and that’s something we can’t change the time since it is handled by an algorithm some have to wait weeks because they can only give one peice of information needed to verify cx

How about when the controlling tyrants at Apple feel that my sound through my Bluetooth ear phones are too loud and so they put a program to automatically turn the volume down or when they crank down the brightness of my phone? There is no settings to turn these off.
