“Trying to Do Things Better” works oddly well as Bear’s theme.

0:30 I can't help but imagine that, at the end of your SR adaptation concept when Henry and Bear are heading to the works, Henry compliments him for refusing to give up and Bear responds"It's just like I said: anything steam engines can do, diesels can do!' with a warm smile. That would be such a sweet moment

I think the faces of the horrid lorries have a much closer shape than stanley's face does though, but stanley's face works well too

If I’m going to be honest, I don’t think I mind bear as a br 22. The br 22 is still a hydraulic diesel like the hymexs which keeps the variation of diesels the nwr has. I still prefer the 35 over the 22 but it’s a cool headcannon

I'd like to see how you'd approach Daisy next; her low bufferbeams on her model are very distracting. Also, if you ever get to Barry at some point, since he was revealed to be an LMS 2MT like Arthur, will the two characters end up being combined or be separate characters entirely? And since Bear is No. 16 in your headcanon, does that mean Barry/Arthur becomes No. 14 or 15, or will those two numbers go to other characters (i.e. Derek, Rosie or Rebecca)?

Since your still shying away from Douglas I’d say do either Daisy or even The Works Diesel next. Perhaps even the narrow gauge engines

In my opinion I think having faces not covering the whole front just works just so the crew could place lamps and head codes onto them without their face in the way.

I just discovered this channel and the edits. I think some of them are really cool. My only issue with them is why do you have to make the face the same color as the body or a different color. It’s so bizarre and does not work in the same style as Thomas. I completely understand if you like that. I understand if you like it but it does not feel like Thomas. No offense but it feels more like Chuggington. Other than that I kind of like the different classes that you picked for the engines. Good work overall.

It’s funny how people are complaining how “this isn’t even bear” when the books did little to nothing with this character and the show outright didn’t include him, ironically this persons given bear more story then the books ever did.
