A spot weld cutter would of taken 30 seconds and cost about $6. Thats what they are made for. They look like a drill bit and drill out the edges of the spot welds.

I'm deciding between this and the Kobalt 26 gallon quiet tech. Do you know if the regulator on the Husky is a POS like the Kobalt one? Looks like lots of people have issues with it leaking or dropping a lot of pressure and it's very common for people to replace it with a different one.

Mines been holding up well and the regulator has been fine. If you want to take a apart and put Teflon or pipe dope on all the fittings. Being that it’s been built as a production product you would get some bad apples sometimes. Not sure what your budget is but this one beats the quality of the harbor freights and the price of the California air. Only concern I have on this compressor is that it holds moisture so when I finish using and I know I’m not going to use it for a while, I’ll drain it out from the bottom and you can see brown water coming out. This compressor has been still going strong since I made this video.

The manifold regulator it comes with is junk, pressure drops and slow to recover. I replaced mine with a 1/4" regulator water separator combo.

You’re missing the silencers that’s why it’s so loud. They screw in to both heads

Probably should have looked at that instruction manual 😂

You supposed to break in the compressor by letting it run for 10 minutes with the drain open. Shoulda read the manual.

For a so called silent compressor it's louder than other so called silent models from other brands.
