@@sweethearteu but he's really not. He's just trying to make a good life for his wife and child on the way. He just wants to take care of them so badly he took it to the other side of the extreme. In my opinion his want to provide this good life for his family is the sweetest most responsible thing ever. He just needs to relax a tiny bit and not go to the other extreme. Like Rachel said it's mostly a metaphor but some people get it stuck in their heads and forget to relax a bit.

@@ismailahmad9597 actually they should NOT be taking a prenatal. Its been proven that taking prenatal labeled vitamins are extremely toxic to the mom and baby. They should be following the weston a price pregnancy diet. I was specifically speaking on just the soup side of the comment.

You can easily turn that rice and chicken into chicken and rice soup lol broth, carrots, spices. I’m so glad she’s getting her soup!

You read my mind. Personally I can eat rice and chicken /spaghetti and meatballs everyday with no problem as long as it is well seasoned. I was wondering that can't she make chicken soup or chicken noodle soup. However Rachel is right, I read some comments on their videos and I see the monsters they have created. Once a guy had a car but was in debt and was still paying car note however the interest and car note amount was very reasonable. Commenters were urging him with intense audacity to sell his car: mind you that a car is a necessity for some people. As Racheal said, some things they say are metaphors and everyone's situation is different and thus the context is always important to consider. I understand her husband though, hospital bills and babies are not cheap in the US : he is freaking out 😅😅😅😅.

That's ridiculous! That woman is carrying there child! She needs food she's eating for two! Rachel thanks for helping her!

Her pregnant body & brain has a REASON for craving what it wants! It's because her body NEEDS those things to CREATE a whole frickin human being!

Exactly! That baby needs way more than carbs and protein. A baby needs all vitamins and nutrition for the full development, and her husband has to understand that food is necessary! Not just prenatal vitamins.

This made me fall in love with Rachel. Any woman who rescues another with soup is a winner in my book.

You should stamp each can, "NOT FOR RESALE", just in case he wonders how much rice he can trade for that soup.

I have been learning to not take things so literally. I remember when I told my in-laws how confused I was about the whole “beans & rice and rice & beans.” I was all, “But your medical bills will go up if that’s all you’re eating”… 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

We don’t sacrifice fruits and veggies, meat, and cheese in our budget, we’re just not getting organic. Our grocery budget is still more than other couples probs but we have health conditions (husband type 1 diabetic and I’m recovering from EBV) so eating healthy even if it slows down our debt payoff a little is worth it.

It’s not about the soups. It’s about you really care! Thank you for that!

Soup is actually really, really easy to make at home in a big batch. I think this will make both parties happy :) Hubby can make it if he's not willing to buy it!

Agreed. A pregnancy demands proper nutrition. Soup is easy and economical to make.

Rachel is the best. I am concerned about the pregnant lady. What other basic necessities is she not getting? Being pregnant is can be so difficult. I hope the husband has empathy and is taking care of her.

@@An_Actual_WomanI hope they aren’t skimping on vitamins too! She also needs lots of green and fruit and other sources of protein (and healthy fats: fish once a week, peas, avocados, etc)! I taught special ed. kids, you can get out of debt over time…but you can’t fix issues that come from poor prenatal care over any amount of time!

I understand saving money and that's why we recommend nutrition chart that even poor women can get their basic needs met bcz not only the baby but the woman too will suffer on birthing table in case severe deficiency occurs. Men should read books or watch videos on pregnancy and childbirth bcz nowadays there is a lot of info easily available

I know this probably isn’t the best place to ask, but if y’all have been pregnant before, do any of you know what prenatal vitamins are good budget friendly options? I think affordable options for mothers saves a lot of stress for financially limited moms like these - myself being one of them right now.

She let me infront of her because my baby was getting upset, so I asked the guy at the till to put through her coffee and cake on my debit card. It felt amazing :)

Im thankful that im provided a life where i can eat whatever. However, i think in any pregnancy case the wallet needs to be loosened a bit. If budgeting is a major concern, then prep and time to make certain dishes should be a priorty of both parents. I have a HUGE chicken adversion unless it is breaded and fried. sometimes other meat depending on how they are prepared. I cant even eat things that i used to prepare on an almost daily basis without feeling nauseated.

That's so kind. I'm tearing up. Hope all goes well for the young couple and their family.
