Monique Lovexxx Monique Lovexxx I said in my post about the video that this is likely a one sided claim. She’s painting him out to be a monster. How do you know that she’s being completely truthful without hearing his side of the story? Plus my reply to this guy was strictly about his wife not his kids as you notice I use the word “she” not “they.” It’s also sad that when a man doesn’t want a woman she and the courts also assume that he doesn’t want his children.

Carlton Henry sure yet he did her dirty, & I doubt anything he has to say can justify that. And had she known about the gambling debt earlier on, what do you suggest she do? What does her knowing or not knowing has to do with the manner in which HE ended the marriage? Are you saying the gambling debt is her fault for not knowing? You sound like someone who would spend as he pleases & the woman can tell you nothing. No really, what side does she have in his gambling debt unless she gambled too - which she didn't. She's the victim here on the gambling issue - imagine how scary it would be for her to be blindsided by her bank account being seized or the police knocking on her door with a lien.

Sometimes God acts in the most unexpected way. The key is not to lose hope. Noah waited many years for the flood to over and so did many of other Bible characters and us. I agree that sometimes it feels like there’s no way out. But I believe that God will intervene with perfect timing as long as we have hope in Him. I know a woman who experienced something very familiar to this lady, but she was able to through all that by God’s graces, and after all she was able to grow spiritually and eventually able to forgive her husband. You might not agree with what I said above, but that’s okay. I used to asked questions like why did God allow bad things to happen and struggle to understand how people are still at peace after all what they went through. I honestly can’t imagine doing that without God. Anyway, I just want to share that God has never failed to abandon anyone who hope for His coming although sometimes it’s temped to feel so. I wish you peace, love, and happiness in your life.

When I was 19 weeks pregnant he left me for his mistress. Lawyer up. Document everything. Get a temporary hearing done ASAP to protect you and your children until the final hearing. Lots of states do not allow divorce while the wife is pregnant. Get all his financial documents in order. Even though there can be debt that's consider martial debt if you can prove it is on gambling, drinking, and partying, etc that debt can be put on him. I am a stay at home mom too. 'Rots of Ruck' as Scooby Do would say. I single-mommed it for 15 years after my 1st ex left me when our baby was 3 months old, and my 2nd husband I left after he came out of the closet as a bisexual transgender who wanted an open marriage. Over the course of 15 years I received from the church 3 bags of groceries and $2000 total. I'm not complaining per se, but saying that the church 'family' doesn't have the 'vision' to REALLY help the single mom. They may sound sincere but are unreliable. They'll pat you on the head, give you a line like 'don't worry this will pass' and hope you go away. Single moms are marginalized both inside and outside the church. How did I make it? I worked as many jobs as possible just to make ends meet, only one of the fathers paid child support of $190/month (he is self employed and hid his earnings really well), and I gave my kids every ounce of my time when I was around. I burned the candle at both ends, works and did little sleeping, and now suffer w/ autoimmune disorders (more than 1 of them). I did the best I could under the circumstances. It was not easy to say the least.

Debra Williams yes, but I think she should feed her kids via her earnings from a job rather than spend the loot. I personally would: - set that money in a trust fund for each kids for them to get half at age 25, & the other half at age 30. - have kids can pay for their own college education. It wouldn't hurt to save some money (I would use part of the child support & alimony payments) into a stock/mutual fund & let it sit until the child is college ready. No to me putting my name on a student loan. - Get a 1-2 bedroom apartment & rebuild. Mind you, this lady has to plan to afford the mortgage, utiities, insurance, & repairs on her own in case he decides to be a deadbeat. Gambling problem = definitely not waging my room & board on him being reliable, had that been me. I would get a 1 bedroom apartment, put my kids in the bedroom & me in the living room + a DIY privacy curtain (I don't need to entertain), then save and find a better paying job so I can afford a better accomodation. Or just get a 2 bedroom & the kids just have to share a room - mind you, the newborn will be next to me for the first almost 2 years anyways. The kids will be okay with less space.

At least part time to get started. This phone call made me really sad for her. I hope her life gets better.

I feel for her. My situation is similar to hers. My fiance of 5 years walked out when I was 3 months pregnant and I'm due in a month. My ex developed a addiction as well. It's not easy being a single mom also going through pregnancy. I wish the best for her and her children 🙌

Rule 1: When he lied about the gambling addiction, when he abandoned his family, he became Public Enemy #1. Rule 2: you need a shark of a lawyer. Rule 3: No forgiveness of this man until the kids are grown and on their own. My husband is doing the same now. I’m 8 months pregnant with our 5th baby. He asked for this baby so many times just to do this. He is choosing to not work, claims “he mentally can’t work”. He won’t get ANYTHING for the baby. Car seat, stroller, diapers.. nothing. So this advice is appreciated.

This way my mom always told me and my sisters to make our own 💵 and be independent because a man can leave you any moment. The only man that I can trust is my father. My father is one of a kind he raised three girls on his own after my parent's Separator my mom was still part of our lives too but the one that stays with us was our father. Not all fathers man up and stay with their kids.

That's not bad advice but it's not good advice either. You should be able to find someone you can love, trust and rely on in life otherwise what's the point. It's true about your father being trustworthy which is why ideally he should choose your husband for you or at least screen your suitors. This is what used to happen in civilized society.

If you are a stay at home parent, work from home…make money…save lots of money. My husband wanted a divorce and I was a stay at home mom, accounts were in his name, he locked all accounts…I had nothing on my side. All for another woman outside of the marriage. I had to move home with my parents with our daughter, start life over. She went to day care I worked as a teacher. I didn’t make much money then but it was enough. Fast forward 10 years later, I have a very successful executive career, my daughter is 13. I bought a beautiful house, car, we are healthy, God really helped a lot. Don’t stay home and earn zero money, make money, I promise you won’t ever regret this.

The worst decision any married man can make is leaving his wife under any circumstances. This dude left her at the worst possible time and the judge will have a field day with him. I don’t particularly like how family law is set up in any given western country but in this case the court can’t hit this excuse of a man hard enough.

Jacob Wiebe --- Correct he is critically lacking strategy here. If he wanted to make moves he should have begun to sequester and hide assets into offshore accounts (cayman/Bermuda/hongkong ). Then begin to incite erratic behavior in his woman while controlling his own and documenting her reactions. Turn the children against her slowly but surely. Continue to earn but push for non salaried performance compensation that you continue to move out in order to minimize you salary cap. Then drop the hammer suddenly when you have cleaned every corner and tied every knot. She would not have the time to react and enact a defense. You can find this advice in Sun Tzu’s “The Art of Divorce” chapter 2 page 30.

Imagine how rich in assets, mental health, and free time this man would be if he had not made the mistake of falling on the sword to create a family he was not ready for. Responsibility should be regarded as double edged. If you are found lacking it will be your head it takes. Men of all ages even 30’s and 40’s should be taught to not take on responsibilities they cannot hope to bear in the medium to long term. The issue is that raising and protecting a family is not something you can practice or take a trial run at. Quite the dilemma

Ok, more women need to understand their financial situation even if their stay-at- home mothers. That's more of a reason why you should know what money comes in and out of your home, and what your home or apt is worth. Unfortunately, a marriage license means nothing to an immoral individual. And even if you have a great marriage, emergencies happen and you should be aware so that you can help protect your home, your spouse, and your kids . I wish her and anyone else in this situation all the best.

This happened to me.. I wasn't married though! My "relationship" with my sons father was always abusive more mentally. I stayed home with our son for ten yrs so he could better his income, he cheated, brought other woman into the home to run me out. He also changed jobs from 150k or more a year to a 40k so he didn't have to pay much in support. I wish there was more attention brought to these kinds of situations. I have no problem working, but it is a huge shock to your system while going through a situation as this. My focus was on keeping my son as stable as possible, he was used to me always being there to his world being ripped apart. I went into debt after having to get a lawyer and trying to stay afloat. Prayers to everyone
