My husband gave me permission to be with other men, has not touched me for 23 years | Tuko Talks

Ойын-сауық

Immediately she gave birth, Penninah Mueni's husband stopped touching her and was no longer attracted to her as a woman. He even gave her permission to go out with other men but she maintains that's the only man she ever loved and has come to accept her painful place in the society as a mother of one.
Here is her story as brought to you by Tuko Talks host Lynn Ngugi

No we have to judge. So we can learn how to grow and move on. Let’s judge do tomorrow we don’t make the same mistakes because we already know how it feels when we do it to others. People make so many excuses for their mistakes. Let’s judge. We Africans think marriage is a badge of honor and it is not. Women are dying to keep an evil man and his demons family happy. Let’s judge because our mothers line to make themselves as victims, that is the reason why us daughters we make the same mistakes as them .

I don’t think that one needs a companion to be happy in life. Sometimes it’s better to be alone and have peace of mind then having someone who puts you through hell. I have been a single parent since when my kids were small and I am now a grandma. So happy to around my family . I haven’t had sex over 25 years and I don’t miss it all. So much temptation in Europe but I kept busy with work and kids and honestly l very much prefer my life without a husband. Some of us weren’t meant to have companionship. This is my opinion

No offense but it seems like most of these men are really troubled . It’s like the only example these men had while growing up is their own fathers beating their mothers. So they grow up thinking that that’s how a man is supposed to treat a woman. It’s sad . 😕😕.These days I feel sorry for all these young girls rushing into marriage or rushing to move in with a man. Marriage is hard. Most of these men have no idea how to treat or love a woman the right way, they are not gentle at all.

My cousin's wife went through the same for some years but after a period of 3 years she came to realise that the hubby had contracted HIV/AIDs and didn't want to infect her. My cousin passed on later on and his wife is currently taking care of their children. Fortunately, he left all his properties for her and gave her authority to expand their family

Very painful & touching story of penninah. I appreciate Peninah for strong faoth & fighting spirit- plz don't give up God has no dustbin of prayers. He makes a way where seems to be no way, even springs of water in the desert. Your hubby needs counselling to accept himself & open up to be helped; and more importantly led to accept Jesus as Lord & Savoir. Then prayer for deliverance from whatever bondage he may be in- God is able to deliver Him once he believes in Him.

This lady was unfortunately likely married to narcissists on both occasions. The first is certainly overt, and the second appears to be neglectful. She is unfortunately stuck in the love bombing phase 23 years in, believing in goodness that was never there in the first place but was a perfect facade to lure her in. she needs to accept the hopelessness of her situation, heal, then move on. Her son will need counselling too because he obviously wasn't spared from this dysfunction and could easily carry forward similar wounds into future relationships.

😇you are not wrong in our lives today @FaithVuyanza but if you can carefully listen to this lady, she is a God fearing woman, who is not only cares about God but also her body and her child, some ladies cares about getting married again but they never cares about what their children will go through in life in the hands of the second father, others never cares how many marriages should they get into for them to settle down, your are right that that lady and her son needs healing ❤️‍🩹 but they also needs prayers . God hates divorce.Malachi 2:15-16; “Has not the God made you? You belong to Him in body and Spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth. The man who hates and divorces his wife,’ says the Lord Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful”. This lady might have red this, that’s why she moved on by remaining single to avoid daily pain.

@@wamush3338 I don't really read from your script of god but if that is the script we are to go by, adultery and unfaithfulness permit you to divorce. Ialso don't believe in a god who forces you to remain in a state of pain, which is quite equivalent to death while still alive. Love liberates. Also, sometimes a second father is the best thing that can happen to your children if you chose wisely and from a place of healing. Besides, there is a big difference between hanging on to hope and making a deliberate decision to be single. This lady is obviously practising the former.
