Weird idea but you saying that you liked how the figures color scheme looked like copper made me think that it would be cool if you designed dolls based on Minecraft blocks, love your videos I’m so happy to see another post ;D

My favorite has to be the Myethos Time Keeper doll. The figure looks suspended in space almost. You would think that the figure would topple over with the girl leaning as she is, but it doesn't. Not to mention the gorgeous painting, I audibly gasped when you showed the pearlescent paint in the sunlight. Absolutely beautiful, goblin brains wants shiny!!

it sounds like you had a great time, i loved the british museum figure it was so beautiful! for the little dress you unsure on maybe you could make a doll that could fit inside with memories of your trip

I love your videos, they’re so calming! The time dial figure is one of my favorite looking figures of all time, it’s so deliciously detailed!

Your friend in Tokyo is definitely a good one to show you where to go to get the goods. It's always nice to have an inside man, lol. If I didn't make the choice to move my brother in when his living arrangement fell through then I'd still have my doll room and I was in progress of unboxing my porcelain figures and getting it organize when that happened back in Sept '23. So after barely getting to bask in the happiness of unboxing things that hadn't seen the light of day in a literal decade (because neither my husband or daughter had ever seen these items before and she's 10 now) I had to swiftly repack and store away and move my brother in. But my collection tastes run more towards fashions dolls and props, because I love to redress and make dioramas and then photograph them. So it naturally started with Barbie, carried over to Disney, then got swept up in Bratz, Monster High, Ever After High, and now it's Rainbow High, lol. There's also a section dedicated to just gothic dolls like the Begoths and Living Dead dolls, any kind of fantasy doll so there are some I've made myself like an Olsen twin centaur. I love the grace of ballerinas and the mystique of gothic dolls but not the gross kind, just the beautiful ones. Lolita, vampire, punk, whatever as long as she's beautiful she slays. I also have an impressive action figures collection of just female characters and those were bought from several stores that no longer exist like Sam Goody but the most recent one to add to my collection was Princess Buttercup from the princess bride film that I picked out on my birthday. God Bless Vintage Stock. One of my newest Rainbow High dolls is Victoria Whitman who in her profile is said to be Australian and she is covered head to toe in light freckles and has gorgeous strawberry blond hair. She's a beaut. Had to have her. My husband is more into the anime figures and got himself a few this Christmas, the one whose name out of the bunch I remember is Shanks from One Piece, the one arm redhead guy who gives Luffy the hat, lol. If we were to compete over who has more toys, I'd win. :) I'm hoping that maybe this year or the next I will be in a place where I once again can have my doll room set to my liking and all my beauties will be on proud display and then I can try putting myself out there in the crafting community more. Last year was a horrid year, a near cease and desist on all my hobbies, and my fanfic writing suffered for it. So this year I'm hobbling back in slow recovery.

All the things in forbidden paints and materials that I can never buy online 🤣 like paints and primers and even some putties. I don't know how I'm gonna bring all that back, but definitely having a go at it and try to find any and all resin kits that might be hard to get or buy.

I got my grail figure from an Anime at Abottsford market in Sydney a few years back. Clare from Claymore (several other people wanted her and I literally messaged the seller, waited at the gate for him to arrive then followed him to his table XD a few other sellers stepped back when they saw how eager I was)

I GASPED OUT LOUD at the pullip dolls in your first stop in Japan!! Pullip was my first intro to doll collecting and customizing when I was literally in middle school. *cries in nostalgic 30yo* Edit: speaking of crying in 30yo, when you said that the Darth Maul figure "is probably older than you" but I remember going to target to buy that new for my brother............

I have that noodle stopper Miku figurine, she is so darling and pretty! If I had a bigger chunk of money to spare I would hunt down the 5th anniversary symphony Miku figure where she is a sort of presonified gramophonw it's just so georgous!
