I wish every trainer was that dedicated to their students. I’m in my mid teens and have been riding for around 7 years and I still haven’t been properly taught some of the things she was taught by the age of 10!

It’s called the horse gene. Some of us have it others don’t. It surpasses all logic and comfort. People that don’t have it don’t understand it.

My daughter was just given a horse by her instructor, and she's investing the time into her just like your story. 😭❤️ She's 11, and she's teaching her how to do groundwork with them, including her with training, all the things. It's been wonderful. These instructors are rare for sure. So thankful.

You are so incredibly blessed. I too, was born horse obsessed. You got the life and horse background I wanted my entire life. I didn't get a horse until I was 50 years old. Yes, if you wait long enough, you can make a dream come true. Sookie lives here with me on my little piece of land. I still have to work full time, and am head of household; so I don't have all of the time I wish I did to work her. Still, in the 3 years I've had her, we have learned so much about eachother. We have a wonderful bond and she feeds my soul so much pure joy! I feel blessed to be with her each and every day and it is a privilege to be able to care for her. My number one criteria in buying a horse (within budget) was to find one that would tolerate me buttering her with affection. (She does.) Thank you for posting so much information (and not talking down to us newbies) on basics! You have the gift of bringing me in at point "A" (not point "G, K, or P") and meeting me where I am in my horse journey. You give me courage and your sense of humor literally brings happy tears to my eyes. God put YOU here for a reason, and you are fulfilling His purpose. Thanks so much and keep up the great work! Ps, please give Tucker a big kiss from me... 😚🐎

Congrats on 100k!!! Your story reminds me of my daughter!! She has been around horses since she was born and she is now 11 and has been “training” a horse that was born on our farm 7 months after she was born. So they have grown up together and she has always begged to ride her but we never had her trained she was just a big pet to us. So we finally bought her a horse she could ride 5 months ago and she has been working with both of them ever since. She says she wants to be a horse trainer when she grows up. She loves coming on here to watch your videos. It has been very helpful for her! Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks with us all!!

I was born loving horses too. I’ve wanted my own horse since I was 5. I took lessons as a kid in exchange for stable hand work. I learned how to care for horses and some about basics of training. My horse dream is here after 42 years. We adopted two mustangs from the BLM and my horse arrives April 1 (soonest date for appointment to pickup available) and my husband’s horse will be going to a friend who is a TIP trainer to gentle her. I’m not experienced enough to want to attempt two gentle two at once. I’m looking forward to this journey with my mare. Your videos have helped me get back in touch with training methods and care. Thank you so much and I love the journey you e had so far.

It's so cool to see how you've come to the point you are now. I almost teared up because I was a horse girl but stopped riding due to my first fall ages ago. Now I'm an adult and I only get to ride a few times a year. It's great to be back but sometimes I kind of grieve the time I could have spent riding as a teen with friends and all the lessons I didn't get to learn. I'm so glad you've created this platform. It helps so much with learning and feeling less alone since I don't have any friends who like horses. It's kind of healing to see you live out little me's dreams. Congrats to your 100,000 followers!

It's so wonderful to hear someone else's "horsey" beginnings! I've been obsessed with horses since I was about five or six years old when my grandparents bought me this cheap plastic horse toy. My entire childhood was spent watching horse movies, horse TV shows, reading horse books, reading horse magazines, collecting horse toys, drawing horses, playing horse video games, etc. My grandmother told my mom that it was a phase, that I would grow out of it. Well, it's 26 years later and I'm 100% sure it's not a phase. lol I've been led around on horses before, but last year I started volunteering at a stable that does trail rides and and as a reward, and when they had space, they allowed me to go on trail rides for free. That was my first experience of "riding solo". After that I was hooked on riding and couldn't get enough of it. My dream is to work with horses and to further my knowledge of care, riding, and training. I'm currently searching for someone who's willing to teach me. P.S. Your videos are a Godsend and they've taught me so much! Also, we're next-door neighbors! I'm in WV! :D

Thanks so much for sharing your story. I love hearing peoples journey with horses! Please let go of any regret you have about the time you missed with Bella. Even more importantly than the fact that the past can’t be changed, is the fact that all of those past decisions put you on the path to where you are today. And that seems like a really good place. Had you continued with Bella, perhaps you would not have Tucker, or this channel, where you have touched the lives of 100,000(!) people (and I’m sure many more to come). That’s like a football stadium full of people! You did good with Bella, and you are doing good in the world.

It's really sad that most people will never know / experience the bond between a horse & a human. You were blessed with an incredible gift. I hope you never let go of it.

This is a great video! And congrats on 100k subs! How did you teach your horses to trot with you on a lead rope? I am training a yearling, and she just braces against the pressure if I get past a walk. Thanks!

Wow! What an amazing life story! I LOVE how you love horses, dogs and kitties! I love your Christian spirit. It shines! 😉 I stumbled on your channel and have binged watched everything I think. I LOVE horses. Always have. Although I don’t own one but I’d love to some day. We’ll see. Take care and keep that sweet spirit! 💙🐴❤️😘
