honestly this is the first of you're vids on the game ive seen. ive been playing this constantly. Agree with everything you said. i mostly play solo but rare times i need others which so far matchmaking works great with. Hopefully future content will still be solo friendly otherwise ill team up with you. keep up the great work and thanks for introducing me to this game.

@@Simonb1471 I think game of the year would more or less consider… idk artistic intent behind the creation of a game? This game is too generic and lack new ideas, that even if someone on the review team really enjoys this game they wouldn’t consider picking it for the game of the year, it would make them look bad

Heard the hard mode stuff doesn’t have any matchmaking so hope they add that otherwise I’ll just stick to normal. Also drop rates on things seem bugged, the sharen material said 20% chance but did it like 15 times and nothing lol

On Hard mode you have matchmaking on Colosses and ivents on the map - MM not work on dungons for now

When was the last time you played Destiny? It has matchmaking for everything in game now, even raids. The most recent expansion is very good too, well worth the money. This first descendent is pretty good too, it's nice to have another looter shooter on the market.

@Simonb1471 I underrated what you're saying about bellends not accepting people if they don't know the raid mechanics inside, out, needed to use a mic. That side of destiny will never change for raids. The dungeons are pretty cool too, though, mic, all that aren't needed.

​@@1div2agent74 Except the reward doesn't always feel appropriate for the work required to get it. It's like the vast majority of the items in this game are locked behind multiple RNG drops, tedious missions, boring boss fights with annoying immunity mechanics, wait timers, and resource grinding, all for one of 4 pieces of a new character that might not even be fun to play or a weapon that isn't very good.

@@jazzyjswift yea I ran into a guy I couldn’t even kill idk if it was a bug or what but he had 3 balls above his head. I would destroy the first one. Cool. Then destroy the second one. Cool only one left. Well before I can even start shooting the last ball a second one reappears lmfao. Like wtf. I’m solo and have 20 enemies shooting me at once with no skill power and the boss is 100% immune. Was living the game til this happened then I deleted it

I completed the main story yesterday, overall I think it's pretty average game, I've put in around 55 hours before choosing to step away, the idea of going through all of those missions again just with a harder difficulty sounded kind of dull, considering it's essentially the same couple mission types copied and pasted into different zones. The most interesting thing about TFD was the colossi boss fights, the way you would have to destroy parts and so on. That being said i enjoyed it for what it was, the one issue i'm finding is that the constant comparisons to Warframe is bad for the game in the long term because Warframe has walked a lot of miles now, it has a lot of content and things to do which TFD is currently lacking so i wouldn't be surprised if at some point alot of those TFD players end up trying out Warframe instead

It's also worth mentioning that Warframe walked so that TFD doesn't have to. They copied a bunch of things straight from Warframe, they clearly took heavy inspiration from it. Warframe being 11 years old is irrelevant considering that TFD already blatantly uses several things from it.
