People dismiss the importance of advisors until they are burned by their own emotions. I remember a couple of summers ago, following my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to assist my business stay alive, so I looked for qualified consultants and came across someone with the highest qualifications. When I first became born again I use to read the book of detronomy and a light bulb went off in my head. If you do what God says He will keep His word and do His own part. I never sought to be rich, I just sought God first and then His blessings started pursuing me. Even when we became millionaires we didn’t notice. I type this because you started reading from the book of detronomy. I run back to it every time I need to remind my self of some of God’s rules… concerning round about prosperity. He says if you do this, if you do that THEN I will…. The surest way to be content is to know God. Money that sits and stays with you and does not fly away. Money from Jesus .

How did you become a millionaire what did you do?

I have been self managing my retirement portfolio with about $1m in pension plans for 5 years now, unfortunately I've failed to outperform the last 2 years, and this has got me worried. Are there anyways I can turn this around or should I sell off?

retirement is more difficult than it was in the past, it's all about balancing your risk tolerance with your long-term goals. perhaps you should consider speaking to an advisor to help in diversifying your portfolio with alternative investments

Agreed, I'm closing in on retirement and have benefitted much from using an advisor thus far. I didn’t really start early, but have compounded my interest over 280% summing up approx. $800k since the rona-outbreak till date. At 50, I'm financially independent.

Another great video, thanks! I think the market is over-heated. And I am concerned that people are focusing less on fundamentals and just chanting the mantra of dollar cost averaging and driving the market higher without considering fundamentals. It is a catch-22 for me. I mean I like stock prices going higher but I also hate buying over-priced stocks and ETFs. Personally, I have stopped buying growth ETFs- they are ridiculously over-valued. Dividend stocks and ETFs are a little better but they are still over-valued. There is some hope with small and mid caps. I am not sure they are undervalued but at least they are less over-valued..This pattern offers a valuable insight for strategic planning. Despite these trends, i have delve deeply into active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Paula Hunstell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape..
