My homemade trommel screener
This is a trommel screener I build out of 95% scrap metal and parts I had laying around. It’s powered by an old snow blower engine, two metal barrels, an old ladder. Works great for screening loam for planting grass and vegetables.

Whats driving your discharge belt?
What kind of belt did you use? Also how did you make conveyor using the ladder

The belt was a pickup bed unloaded I cut and sewed together to make a continuous belt. The ladder rungs on the ends have been cut and a piece of pvc slid into place to make a roller. Belt is actually turned by a snow thrower drive unit rim. The other rim drives the trommel.

I hate this video, it is far too short , fantastic machine. I won't mention the human ear in the compost pile. did I say that out loud?
